Bench strength, Pakistan Shaheen 69/7 against Wellington.
Hahahah, such an amazing reflection of our abilities. What was the outcome of the first T20?

And then that coach will fast track undercooked people into the set up
Genuine question, you think he's really ready?
But 36 all-out happens only if every single thing goes in one team's favor. You nick all balls and the opposition catches all of them. Even half-chance gets you a wicket. Clearly, you are not going to see 36 all-out despite poor batting units.
I wanted to simply see some fight from Pakistan. Not fight like 60/5 and then put 100 runs, because by then match is pretty much done. Putting 150/2 would have been great to watch given NZ had given plenty of overs to get 230 runs on flat pitch. Win or lose, just play some good cricket in series.
Ravi Shastri says Hi!
How Southee is getting so much bounce too? He is unplayable at the moment.
No Babar in the t20 lineup is nowhere near as discouraging as no Babar in the test lineup..
After seeing the current batting display Misbah is making a quick call for Shafiq to come in for the next match.
“He will shore up the middle order and make sure we level the series 1-1”.

Babar wouldn't have done much here tbh...
Rana saab said, it was a dead wicket and I told him, wait till Pak batsmen come to play and they will show the hidden demons in this pitch. lol
Hell no. But he will probably put more of a price on his wicket than Shan Masood. Might even play a few shots in the process and not hang his bat out there as if he is putting clothes in a washing machine
Shan "Parchi" Masood, the greatest hard worker and the fittest player in this entire team has yet to play a few solid shots.
I think about 80% of his runs come from edges that flew pass the slip area.
I feel like at this point it's a lose-lose whatever Pak do. Play Abdullah, and then his confidence will be shattered by NZ bowlers. Play the same XI, Shan, Abid, Azhar, Haris, Fawad (or a majority of them) score sub-par fifties, they'll get the full home series vs SA and the test team will just give them longer ropes. I don't like to cheer against Pak ever but honestly speaking low-key, it's for the best if most of these senior 'pros' fail in this game and the next. I'll eat my words if these guys turn up from here on out.

The bolded part in your post is exactly why I want him to do good consistently. Unfortunately, despite all that, he's still just not good enough.
Why can’t our guys swing the ball at all? It is the same ball that we use to the opposition?
Need to remove both openers
Watch the new Wonder Woman movie, its utter crap but still a masterpiece compared to this.
According to espn, wagner unlikely to bowl for the rest of the game.
Watched that last night, I'm thinking Tenet tonight.
Much worse and so even better in comparison.
haha really? damn hmmmmmm might just finish up Season 5 of Better Call Saul, then.

Bench strength, Pakistan Shaheens 91 all out against Wellington.
Good to see you posting.
THIS is major part of the problem.
The standard of our domestic cricket is simply not good enough to match with the standard of domestic cricket of other good teams.
We simply produce khoti carts to be sent to compete in Ferrari races.
And then one odd potentially talented kid that we produce and fast track into the national side, gets slaughtered by the coaches in the national team.
It pretty much covers up the entire story of modern day Pakistan cricket setup.
Pakistan batting needs a total revamp.
By doing what?
Let the Shaheens who just got all out for 97, take over the national team, or bring back the old TTFs back into the squad?
Harris already signaling for water after running a couple and a three.
Saud Shakeel can come into the team.
And who wil replace the other tailender with good angrezi?Babar should replace Abid Ali in next test... Azhar could open the innings
Rayyman, if Haris plays a legendary innings to save this Test, like you think he will, I’ll eat my words and back him in ODIs too until 2023.
Otherwise, you agree he needs to be dropped across all formats starting tomorrow. Deal?
And who wil replace the other tailender with good angrezi?
On skill he is only second to bobby, wish harry had better attitude and knees and wasn't a smoker and ten year younger.Yea, but only if Saud Shakeel replaces him.
Now watch him get out for 45![]()
As I said before, he should be locked in jail, and forced to run 20 miles daily with JUST ONE low calorie small portion meal a day with plenty of water.
This is the only way, he will lose some weight and build some stamina.
Azam Khan should be made witness of this regime and should be told to get ready.
These guys are just not smart enough to take care of their own selves.
No joy to watch these guys bat. Blocking away for nothing. As we saw in 1st innings being positive is the way to go on this pitch. Blocking will dry up runs and bring wkts
Not sure how this became a thing. As far as Test cricket is concerned Haris’ only contribution I can recall are soft 30s scored in ENG in 2018.
He did not tour SAF and was woefully exposed in AUS. His 30s in ENG had a fair share of streaky runs between 3rd/4th slip and gully. I was hoping that he would have toured SAF and then ENG this year to have this myth put to bed for good.
Before I get on to the topic of weight, injuries, attitude and presence/body language - isn’t his technique quite transparent in the sense that he plays far away from the body and is liable to not just nick the ball in the event of bounce/movement, but also to play his drives in the air?
Look, PP has enough smart people. Really hoping this guy can “prove me wrong” or whatever that means. A soft 50 (stroked through the slip cordon) will not do. If he has any mettle, will need to score big and show us what this talent is.
Is that the last we'll see of Haris in tests?
I genuinely hope so. I fail to understand how PP stalwarts have been bumping this guy as one THE MOST talented batsmen in PAK. If this is indeed true, think we need to PAK our bags and the URL needs to be put on sale.
