[VIDEO] Pregnant women ‘stomped on’ in horror Parramatta cafe random attack

Probably mentally handicapped if you asked a Caucasian.

It’s her fault if you asked a genius Pakistani.

The world is doing absolutely nothing to counter islamaphobia. Such incidents are unacceptable
 
Horrific to watch ! But australian laws r worse than india , the article says that this guy will be out of jail in a month ! U get only a month for an assault ???

I think that guy shuld be in jail for atleast 10 yrs

These so called liberal countries give to much rights to the individual and not enough right to society.

First of all this is unforgivable, I am sure most sane people think he should not be let out of jail for a very long time, especially based on his history of violence (nice jab at Caucasians though).

I live near the area so its quite a shock as there isn't much overt racism going around in Sydney, especially in these areas, as they are highly multicultural. For example Parramatta is pretty much all Indians and Lebanese communities.

The suspect in question seems like he is Croatian, which is interesting as the most aggressive behaviour towards Muslims I've ever seen is generally from the Christian neighbours of those Muslim communities (for example Lebanese Maronites against Lebanese Muslims, Greeks against Turks, Croats against Bosnians).

This isn't really an Australian or Caucasian problem per se. It seems to be it is more of a problem of immigrants bringing their old country's racist values towards one another in an adopted country.
 
He'd be receiving VIP treatment had the incident occurred in Pakistan. Australia does have a general problem with racism. I hate to admit it but always feel every Australian including their Cricketers are racists.

No use of educating ignorant people who are merely interesting in point-scoring.

On topic: it appears that this individual has a history of violence as well, which makes him even more dangerous to the society. These are the type of folks who end up committing mass shooting.

Seems similar to that guy who killed a dozen people in Port Arthur in 1995 I think. The authorities should be releasing this guy at their own risk because people like him don’t belong in the society.
 
Pregnant Muslim woman 'stomped on' by a man in a cafe in Australia

A heavily pregnant Sydney woman who was the victim of an alleged racially-motivated attack has called on all Australians to come together to protect innocent people from racial and religious attacks.

The 38-weeks pregnant Muslim woman, identified by media reports as Rana Elasmar, 31, was with friends at a Parramatta eatery on Wednesday night when 43-year-old Stipe Lozina allegedly approached their table and spoke to them.

Lozina then allegedly leaned over and punched Ms Elasmar several times in the head and upper body, causing her to fall to the ground as her friends tried to hold him back. He then allegedly stomped on her head.

Ms Elasmar was wearing a hijab and police are looking at Islamophobia as a potential motive. It’s been reported Lozina made anti-Muslim comments to Ms Elasmar.

He appeared before Parramatta Local Court on Thursday charged with affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm and was refused bail to next appear on December 5

I've never been to Australia.

My jab was at those who would blame Islamaphobia on Muslims, mostly educated ignorant Pakistani pretending to be liberal as long as they can protect their illegal investment over the past 30 years while supporting Mualana, and those Caucasian who would justify or find an excuse to not acknowledge the problem of Islamabhobia that exist in Caucasian pollution.

Person who attacked her is Caucasian.

First of all it is a terrible act. He deserves to be in bars for a long long time for attacking a 3rd term pregnant woman.

What do you mean they do not attack Muslim men? Are Muslim men some kind of supermen that they can retaliate to the brutality of the attacks?

An attack is an attack no matter it is on a Muslim man or woman or on any person in general.

Very scary indeed especially in that area as it is very multicultural. Seems he was known to the police so hopefully he will be locked up in prison or a mental facility as he obviously is a danger to the wider community.

A migrant attacked another migrant in Australia and KingKhanWC asked me why there are so many racist attacks in Australia.

Apparently he is from another country and has some hang up about muslims, Australia takes in many migrants form the middle east that have been persecuted by muslims so there is a possibility that he could have been persecuted in his own country.

Are we not allowed to talk about why this happened and only if we can blame it on the whites.

Croatians are white and that man is an Australian regardless of him being an immigrant unless things work differently in Australia than here in the states. Most of the Muslims in Australians are immigrants not refugees as in skilled immigrants that go there for economic reasons like other Asians and African people that go to Australia. Also the refugees aren't in Australia cause of being persecuted by other "Muslims", a lot of the violence has political, ethnic or sectarian reasons.

Cultural racism/neo-racism if you prefer.

The personal angle to cultural racism means very little because that's common with most racist attacks. Whether it's "they're taking our jobs" or "my family was persecuted by them back home" doesn't matter. He attacked based on a physical identifier (in this case her religious garment).

Things like this happen in multi cultural societies and its not limited to any race or religion, for example only last year:


In the Melbourne case, Momena Shoma, 26, admitted to engaging in a terrorist act when she stabbed Roger Singaravelu as he napped with his five-year-old daughter at Mill Park on 9 February 2018. She is the first woman to be sentenced for directly carrying out a terrorist attack in Australia.

Crying “Allahu akbar” (God is great), Shoma plunged the knife with such force it embedded into Singaravelu’s neck and the knife tip snapped off.
On Wednesday Justice Lesley Ann Taylor jailed Shoma for 42 years with a minimum of 31-and-a-half years, calling the young woman an “insignificant criminal” with “repugnant logic”.

Dressed in a black niqab showing only her eyes, Shoma did not stand for Taylor.

“Your actions sent waves of horror through the Australian community, but they do not make you a martyr ... they make you a criminal,” Taylor told the Victorian supreme court.

Taylor said Shoma’s “sole purpose” of entering Australia was to commit a terrorist attack, with her enrolment to study a masters of linguistics at La Trobe University a ruse.

[MENTION=732]Gilly[/MENTION] your response is very predictable.....the media in Australia is full of islamaphobia aswell as mainstream politicans. So lets not kid ourselves this is due to the what happened in Balkans he did it due to the normalisation of such behaviour
 
The guy should be tried for attempted murder!

I see Canada as one of the places as well where islamophobia is on a rise. Such an unfortunate world we are living in.

I live in the most multicultural city on the planet; there's a clear difference between what you're suggesting and what happened here.

When the only thing that provokes the attacker is someone's skin color/religious garment, it's not a case of an Australian attacking another Australian.

It's racism.
