Maybe she did at the time as many Indians did, we just dont know unless we can read her thoughts in the past.
We don't need to read anyone mind/thoughts to know that 'Pakistan Zindabad' or 'Jai Hind' does not mean 'I like nuclear war'.

cricketjoshila has stated all Indians support India or supported India attacking Pakistan.Great to see young ladies from Pakistan question these so called celebrities. The question is spot on! Loved it!! Bravo young girl. Expose these **** for what they are!
Many Indians were lusting for India to go to war with Pakistan. They knew both nations are nuclear powers and any full blown conflict would lead to nuclear war, yet they still supported attacking Pakistan with all their might. She could have wrote nothing but still having such a mentality. She seems a bit thick so this is very possible.
We don't need to read anyone mind/thoughts to know that 'Pakistan Zindabad' or 'Jai Hind' does not mean 'I like nuclear war'.
She said something after jai hind though didn't she? Why are you not quoting that bit? You're intellectually dishonest, and that's the nicest thing I can say about you. Quote her full tweet, stop trying to move the goalposts.
Good Lord!
Okay if a Pakistan tweets 'Pakistan Zindabad and tags PakistanArmedForces' or an Indian tweets 'Jai Hind and tags IndianArmedForces' how on earth do those phrases automtically come to mean 'I support nuclear war'.
If someone in the US says 'God bless America' and tags the USMilitary it cannot be twisted to mean 'I support nuclear war', even if it is said/written by a US celebrity, and even if it is said when the US is at war. The flight of fancy to twist that to automatically mean that he or she means 'I support nuclear war' is preposterous.
Thank you, so you admit she celebrated the Indian Armed forces right after they crossed the border of a sovereign nation and bombed then, making her a war monger.
When both countries have nuclear weapons in their arsenal, then that automatically means that war will be nuclear. So yes, she does support nuclear war, and it stands in stark contrast to what UNICEF is all about. Thanks for helping me research the subject and draw my conclusions.
Thank you for updating the English dictionary. So a pakistani who writes 'Pakistan Zindabad' and tags PaksitanMilitary is supporting Nuclear war. Ditto for Indians, Americans, and everyone else.
Great. We learn new things every day. Dont we?![]()
Once again, your intellectual dishonesty is showing my Fiend. You're only sharing half of the story.
If they do that right after Pakistan has crossed a sovereign border and bombed a nuclear armed country, then yes, they're active war mongers and wouldn't be worthy of holding a position with UNICEF.
This isn't very difficult to understand, maybe if you enjoyed some beef kebabs like I have today, the protein would help develop your mind and you'd be able to see what the rest of us are seeing.
100,000 twitter interactions from around the world can't be sneezed at.
You may be surprised but beef kebab is already my favorite dishSo much for stereotypes.
Yes, now if you are talking about her being worthy of holding a position with UNICEF, that is a totally different question. I don't think most celebrities from the film world are worthy of such positions.
That said, the words/languages do not suddenly get redefined because a celebrity tweeted something. Jai Hind and tagging IndianMilitary or Pakistan Zinadabad and tagging PakistanMilitary, or God bless America and tagging USMilitary does not mean 'I support nuclear war'. That is just crazy stretching of logic, linguistic gymnastics most Pakistanis on this board are performing to justify the ridiculous logic of the Pakistani lady who questioned Priyanka.
And, Oh my God, that wrestling style 'put down' that Piryanka gave that lady,'...well if you have finished ranting', lol, I don't think that was required. And then to see the Pakistani lady's mike being snatched away by security. I think Priyanka could have given that lady a softer landing. And don't think security needed to take her or her microphone away.
I think the Pakistani lady got carried away at the prospect of asking the celebrity Priyanka a question, and earning her two minutes of fame. So like a nice millenial she straight away decided to go to 5th gear and invoke 'NUCEAR WAR' for good social media effect. That is all.
Everyone know Priyanka was not asking for nuclear war. It is just that Pakistani friends now have to defend the outrageous allegations of an overzealous SJW (social justice warrior) millenial.
I for one defend every Pakistani's right to say 'Pakistan Zindabad' and tag the Pakistani Military, without getting my inner wear into a knot.
Priyanka did nothing wrong in this instance to apologize or feel sorry .It is people who have nothing better to do are harrasing her on twitter.
Her reaction, the way she spoke back is what is getting her the hate.
However I can see that you too are disappointed with her.
It’s ok, move on from this thread.
Make-up and plastic surgery may make you look beautiful from outside, but it cannot prevent your internal ugliness from shining through.
Notice how Ayesha's mic was snatched as she was showing Chopra her auqaat. So much for free speech.
What smackdown did she give? Chopra is getting killed on social media. Someone called her out for being a hypocrite and she reacted just like someone who knew had been exposed would. To be fair the mic being snatched was the overzealous security folks doing, not Priyanka Chopra's fault. But what a smackdown Priyanka gave that lady. Could have been a bit softer with the lady certainly.
But emotions do get the better of us India/Pakistan folks, and in both directions. People go overboard in being hospitable with each other (India/Pak) and then back to being sworn enemies when the India/Pakistan border gets hot, regardless of where the overseas Pakistanis/Indians are on the planet, at that very moment![]()
She deserves the hate, people were rightfully calling her out for it when it happened.Priyanka did nothing wrong in this instance to apologize or feel sorry .It is people who have nothing better to do are harrasing her on twitter.
Fantastic to see someone call Chopra out on it.
I was disgusted by the number of 'Patriotic' Indians who celebrated news of India's airstrikes. It was so much worse for Chopra who is a UN Ambassador.
Hopefully this kills her career, she's a terrible actress and a fake person. You don't want people like her succeeding in this world and being given a platform to spread their harmful messages.

I was disgusted by the number of 'Patriotic' Bollywood actors who should know better that celebrated news of India's airstrikes. It was so much worse for Chopra who is an UN Ambassador.

And they'd be getting slammed too.I can guarantee you that if the sides/strikes were conducted by Pakistan the 'patriotic' Pakistanis screaming their gut out would not be any fewer or less garrulous.
I've seen her in American shows, she's freaking terrible. If she didn't have a Bollywood background, she would never get a gig. You could find hundreds of better Indian actresses.Kyle jenner is a billionaire, Many Arab dictators are rich, King of Brueni etc rich as well,Murdoch another rich brat, Koch brother etc etc i can keep naming. Are you saying good people become successful?
Also Priyanka is a good actress but yes she was and is fake .
She deserves the hate, people were rightfully calling her out for it when it happened.
She should really be removed by the UN. It's embarrassing she hasn't already, hopefully this will make them react.
In this instance, she deserves it and is a scummy person.People who are haters will continue to hate nobody cares about them. She is just fine with or without those haters.
I've seen her in American shows, she's freaking terrible. If she didn't have a Bollywood background, she would never get a gig.
The thing is quite a few western desis who are brilliant actors, there's no need to look to Bollywood for mediocre actors who only got gigs there in the first place because of their looks.True, she is no Om Puri or even Archie Punjabi .. she is trying hard to fit in but would never.
There are reasons why guys like Khans and Bachans never migrated because being in Hollywood is a different thought process, Kal Penn or Riz would do better than Priyanka or Deepika..

Getting killed on media? By whom? Pakistanis? Lol.
She is an Indian and supported her country. Pakistanis dont like it, well, the world doesnot live to please them.
We've literally brought her Hollywood career to a grinding halt. She will apologise. Then she will be called out for her pathetic apology.
Then she can go back to Bollywood. Let's see if Modi wants to know her as much when she's not helping him rehabilitate his image as the butcher of Gujarat.
Once again you're being intellectually dishonest.
She didn't snatch the mic from her hand but she did pointedly ask the lady in question whether she had finished venting, knowing full well the mic had been taken from her, this has led to the accusations of her gaslighting the woman, Ayesha Malik, and now the world is beating down on her like the neighbourhood pinata. Well she did say she wanted to play Latin/Mexican characters.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.la...chopra-quantico-20151025-story.html?_amp=true
She's rightly been called out on this and sadly this will probably lead to her being turfed out by the woke crew of Beyonce, Meghan Merkel, Serena etc and maybe even lead to divorce from the Jonas brother, cos who wants a wife who's as cancelled as her flop show Quantico?
https://www.capitalfm.com/news/priyanka-chopra-trouble-cancelled-india-jai-hind/
She will be glad to know you thought she had a Hollywood career, she doesn’t even have a Bollywood one right now.
Since when did saying “Jai Hind” = encouraging nuclear war.
That would like accusing someone who says “Pakistan Zindabad” (when Ind-Pak tensions are high) of encouraging nuclear war.
It’s a ludicrous accusation.
lol...Good lord there we go again! Where did I state that she (Priyanka) snatched her (Pakistani lady's) mic. I stated that it was the overzealous security's folks doing (that the mic was snatched).
God, do you even read, or you just take the baton and run screaming 'Pakistan has been wronged yet again. Someone, Please help!'
Calm down, friend![]()
You must have been asleep when she tweeted it. Do your research as to when she tweeted that, in what situation and the criticism she received after that.
So during that very situation/period, any Pakistani who wrote something similar ('Pakistan Zindabad' and tagged PakistanMIlitary) was by your definition, also supporting a nuclear war?
Well she did star in Quantico, she was an antagonist in the flop Baywatch movie, so gotta give credit where it's due.
Unfortuantely all that seems so long ago, thanks to some Pakistani people asking simple questions.
Intellectual dishonesty from you again. You've deliberately misread my post and intentionally avoided the gaslighting she did. Did she, or did she not ask Ayesha Malik If she'd finishing ranting, whilst knowing full well security had snatched the microphone from Ayesha's grasp?
You're misdirecting here, and I'm not at all surprised. I'm sorry Priyanka is getting dragged across the hot coals to a life of cancellation, don't hate the playa, hate the game.
Do you know any of them who are UNICEF ambassadors for peace, or claim to champion woken worldwide?
You are keeping her in news..plus not enough to boycott(Roseanne, Kevin) but enough for publicity.
Oh sorry, my bad. Thank you for enlightening me. So this only applies to UNICEF ambassadors. If anyone else writes 'Jai Hind' and tags IndianArmedForces, or write 'Pakistan Zindabad' and tags PakistanArmedForces, they are all good and are just being patriotic citizens.
But if any of them are UNICEF ambassadors at that time, then automatically the meaning of that phrase (Jai Hind / Pakistan Zindabad) now somehow gets translated to 'I support Nuclear war'.
Looks like I missed that memo.
I think since the #MeeToo and #TimesUp hashtags, and especially since the advent of twitter, bad publicity does not play at all well in Hollywood, right now she's still trending on twitter for negative reasons and how long before her agents drops her? How long before the agent of Jonas asks him to start keeping his distance from her?
And those crazy Bhakhts defending her are not doing her any favours at all. They're literally abusive to the core, sexism, racism, homophobia, this is not playing at all well, and twitterverse is seeing it first hand.

Let’s be honest if any Indian celebrity speaks out on any topic against this BJP government they will instantly become a pariah. Who wants to be shamed and possibly demonetised ?
This is the most hard right wing Indian government we have seen. They have a mandate after their thumping election win and will do whatever they like if they know will get away with it.
These celebrities will do nothing but remain silent or give tacit approval. It’s just pointless asking them.

The Time is up on #MeToo and #TimesUP etc. That fad is long gone. The way the world of showbiz goes, any publicity (good or bad) is better than no publicity. 'No publicity' is when a celebrity falls through the cracks and disappears. Which is why publicists make up false news about affairs/breakups/extra marital/emotional meltdowns etc etc. To recirculate the celeb into public domain.
So my suggestion to our Pakistani friends is, let this discussion go. You are only help build her celebrity further. She is running all the way to the bank, after supporting military action against you.
Just ignore her, friends.
So during that very situation/period, any Pakistani who wrote something similar ('Pakistan Zindabad' and tagged PakistanMIlitary) was by your definition, also supporting a nuclear war?
Agree, if someone makes their bread and butter in India, I've not got an issue with this, that's for them and their conscience. Like that Karan fella who stopped working with Pakistani artists and turned full Bhakht for the day
However these same cowards then shouldn't be given UNICEF ambassadorships, and share platforms with western Hollywood and other artists who are speaking out against Trump, white supremacists and other power structures, and sit on stage like they're equal and all about that life, when actually they're pro war and saffron fascism.
Whether someone gets Unicef ambassadorship or shares platform in hollywood or sits with hollywood celebs, its not up for you or me to decide.
Just because you or pakistanis dont like it, it wont stop.
Posters talking about this UN Ambassador thing, must realise that she was made an ambassador because she is a Indian Celebrity. Being that doesnot mean she will give up her citizenship and stop supporting her country.
Yes Pakistanis didnot like it, but then its their problem. Priyanka or anyone else isnt living to please them.
Its a regular thing here on PP that whenever any Indian supports its army, he or she is criticised. This sense of entitlement that since they hate the Indian army, Indians must do so too is astonishing.
Regarding priyanka, she gave that girl the treatment she deserved. And for every pakistani trolling her, there would be five indians supporting her. So it would hardly matter.

She isn't really an Indian any more, she has moved to America, is now an American celebrity, albeit a minor one, and she has married an American. These restrictions may apply to Indian who are still Indian citizens, but she has given up her Indian status so is free to criticise India if she wishes.
Whether she is an Indian or not will be decided by her and the relevant laws. How did you decide she is not an Indian?
You were the one who told us that Indians can't hold dual citizenship.
Does she have American citizenship and has given up her Indian citizenship?
