"The tea is fantastic": Captured Indian pilot Abhinandan

Looks like he was really enjoying Pakistani tea

I’m guessing this is an Indian businessman too that was arrested from Kashmir. Watch Indians disown their very own IAF commander. How’s the josh neighbors?

Stupid stuff. No need to make such videos really

It is good that we are treating him well but I hope we don't turn this into a propaganda circus. It is not like he has the choice to say anything else and more videos will do more harm than good.

That was just awkward.... just weird.... However South Indian ppl are very good ppl at heart and kind you can tell from his mannerisms..

This is called professionalism and humanity. I hope that this conflict ends soon before the loss of 100s of thousands. Indians should recognize now who the war mongers actually are. If we Pakistanis were this savage, we would have dealt with him differently.

Hope nobody holds this against him when he is returned to India. Some joshila diehards might not be able to accept praise of Pak captors by one of their own pilots.

It’s a propaganda war between both media’s.

Safe to say India has lost the war of information very badly.

I am against chest-thumping etc, but there is a big propaganda war going on out there and this shows the positive side of the pak army so this was probably necessary?

Actually it's good stuff. Let India and it's brain washed awaam to know we are treating your man with dignity.

one video was enough, which was made earlier. Now if hey keep on making videos and keep showing how Paksitan army's hospitality that is just stupid.

Thing is, this guy could go back to the border after the war and falsely claim that he was not treated well.

I agree videos should be posted of the captured, but there should be some proper questions asked. No need for these chai gimmicks and all that.

Our DGISPR was saying earlier that there are two pilots captured. One is in hospital. Now he says only pilot after MEA of India confirmed this earlier. So was that pilot who is hospitalized of our jet which they claim to be down.

I agree. While it all seems to be good natured, many don't like to see their armed forces personnel in this position as they feel it humiliates their nation. Of course everyone does much worse usually with their enemies in reality.

Put him in the same prison as Yadav:narine Treat him well and do not beat him up at all. No matter what humanity should come first even if he is from the enemy camp. He looks like Merv Hughes or David Boon!!!:kakmal

They want to show that the poor guy is not getting tortured in a cell somewhere but is Ok and in good spirits.

One purpose of this video can be to calm the nerves and I am sure for the family of this guy it ain't "stupid stuff"

oh bhai there are already multiple videos.

Making soo many more looks really unprofessional

So Pakistan immediately has proofed but there’s still no proof of the 300 dictions Jaish deaths?

"Wing commander are you married?"

Typical Pakistani auntie question from our side :))) Wonder what was the point of that.

So Pakistan immediately has proofed but there’s still no proof of the 300 dictions Jaish deaths?

I think only the most delusional Indian patriot still believes that line. Even joshila bhai seems to have rolled up his flag and gone home.

agreed,looks stupid.

This video is very important to stop lies that would be spread by India on the way we treat their pilot. It certainly served a purpose to likes of me to confirm well being and fair treatment of a prisoner.
Indian need channel ABP was claiming Pak have not even informed India that he was under their custody.

This!
Cricketjoshilla and co have vanished ever since.

If i am not wrong a Wing Commander of Air Force is equivalent to a Colonel in Army.

:))) As expected of Indian media. They can extract olive oil grinding stones

What a shame. Doesn't deserve to be called a soldier if he starts praising the arch enemies for some chai and biskut. hope he never returns back to india.

Well, he's probably safer there than in the cockpit of a MiG-21.

If i am not wrong a Wing Commander of Air Force is equivalent to a Colonel in Army.

It is a senior position. Generally they're the ones who get to fly Sukhois etc.

If he returns to India, he should qualify for a gallantry award. That's how it goes.

The Dad of an ex was also Wg Co and got a Chakra for avoiding crashing into civilian areas while putting himself at risk. Don't recall the details as I deliberately avoided paying attention since I didn't like him very much :uakmal

Hahahah that was hilarious, and you changing your flag and avatar is even funnier :)))

What a shame. Doesn't deserve to be called a soldier if he starts praising the arch enemies for some chai and biskut. hope he never returns back to india.
Here we go will be now hated for showing India the truth about Pakistanis. Do you want him to lie,can you not see from his face expression how relaxed he is and how is living a proper cup of tea for first time on his life😁

What a shame. Doesn't deserve to be called a soldier if he starts praising the arch enemies for some chai and biskut. hope he never returns back to india.

In Modi's India, this officer is probably safer in Pakistan. Who knows when he returns some bhakt picks up a weapon and kills him for destroying India's "ijjat"

of i see thanks for the details if i am not wrong you are also from south? he also mentioned south in the video

Agreed.

Now then General, please rest your fingers, you've done much for your country.

Yeah, from Bengaluru. He is from Tamil Nadu as far as I've heard, which is also South.

The missing IAF pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman is the son of retired Param Vishisht Seva Medal winner Air Marshal Simhakutty Varthaman, according to sources. In an ironic twist of fate, Abhinandan's father worked as a consultant for the Mani Ratnam movie Kaatru Veliyidai where the pilot hero was captured by Pakistan.

Haven't seen this movie but wiki says the story involves the hero being tortured by Pak forces :(

He is not going to be tortured don't worry we will return him safe and healthy just like we did with Chand Babulal last year.

Yeah, that much is clear from the very first video onward.

The :( was to convey the embarrassment the makers of the film must feel after seeing videos like the ones here.

Only to have him back at the controls of a MiG-21? What has the poor guy done to deserve this?

I think SoP is to retire a downed pilot or give him a desk job. You only get one chance of being shot down. I could be wrong though.

They should take it as a lesson to learn "Life outside bollywood is very different and real"

The news of Indian fighter jets entering Pakistani territory is still alarming. Why did India send two more jets in the first place? I thought they had hit their target and killed the people who caused the Pulwama attacks?

This pilot actually was shooting at civilians after falling off from parachute, and when he hid civilian guy Yaseen and others caught him and handed him to Pak army. He was shouting Jai Hind when he discovered he was in Indian terriroitery. There were three parachutes in the area.

I'm actually waiting for Mamoon to come and use his classical dialogue India deserve this humiliation.

That’s not true. We are morally wrong in this battle, but we have still humiliated them. Undeserved humiliation is worse than deserved humiliation.

I am hoping that this is the last conflict of Ind Pak on a battlefield. I hope that Indians learn from this misadventure order given by their IDIOT PM and never choose again a dumb guy like him ever. Of course, we have dumb people as well electing goons like Nawaz but, at least he promotes peace and does not have a false bravado in his resume'.

Pity you still cant understand war is rarely ever "ethically moral".

Its always about integrity and self defense.

You are young so perhaps you will learn as you mature and grow up.

There is no morality in war.

The only fact is India violated our airspace for which they had to pay and that they did. That should be the end of it.

How are we morally wrong ?
India entered our airspace and destroyed our trees. We had right to avenge our plants that took 20 or thirty years to grow the height they were.
Joke aside Pak offered India show proof of Pak connection with the last terror attack but instead they chose to violate LOC.
We should not have bothered India is self destructing they are downing their own Helicaptors and killed 7 soldiers.

It was India who deliberately crossed our borders, and people saying we are morally wrong in this fight? KUdos.

According to CNN news india: Indian troops have been told to remain prepared for mobilization on urgent basis. India and Pakistan both continue to be on high alert.

No offense, but you don’t seem to understand my point and this is not the first time today. However, I hope that it will be the last time.

Once again - am not talking about the mini war (or whatever you want to call it). I am talking about India’s claim that there are multiple terrorist camps in Pakistan that have the backing of our intelligence. Everything that India said after Pulwama was absolutely correct.

However, they were outdone by Pakistan when it came to showing aggression. Their botched their move and allowed Pakistan to carefully plan their response. It will now be in India’s best interests to not retaliate and acknowledge that they have officially lost this two day battle.

I hope we can exchange keyboard warriors like you and joshila with Shri Abhinandan Ji. I don't think you two will get even chai and biscuit there.

This is good stuff from Pakistan though. We have been embarrassing ourselves for the past couple of days. Need to stop it now. This is not Asia Cup. :inti

It was India who deliberately crossed our borders, and people saying we are morally wrong in this fight? KUdos.

We are morally wrong to protect terror camps and not wipe them out. However, a lot of these camps are backed by the intelligence so that is never going to happen.

When it comes to actual war itself, it is not a question of right or wrong. India made the first move and botched their move. We carefully planned our move and delivered a decisive blow.

The ball is back in India’s court - it is up to them if they want to make it a case of their ego or if they are going to do the right thing by calling ceasefire.

Since Pulwama, India had the upper hand. Their case was strong. However, Pakistan turned things upside down today by successfully achieving their mission, something that India were not able to do.

If those 2 jets entered Pakistan airspace then this is a load of tosh I'm sorry to say.

Where is that Joshila guy? he was jumping and dancing yesterday.

He is flying on his keyboard. He is going to drop those keys in a jungle and will come back to India.

I am getting tired of seeing our pathetic media and these keyboard warriors showing false bravado. :inti

Pakistani just can't arrest anyone nilly willy without the evidence.

Pulwana attack, if it was planned in Pakistan then Pakistan should and must apprehend those people.

India has not provided one yet and if there is one then India should have.

Do you agree that India has to provide an evidence?

So you believe India that there were hideouts of terrorists that been destroyed by them?
Where is the burning rubble?
Where are 300 bodies?
Where are the injured?
Where are videos of bombing?
Stop believing everything India says. They are trying to deny the freedom fight by Kashmiris. Even if Pak provide them moral intelligence support why do theynothold dialogues with Kasmiris and Pakistan to come to resolution. They been interfering in Balochistan and Afghanistan against Pakistan and responsible for some terror attacks, but we did not cross the LOC.

It is not even about Pulwama only. JeM may or may not be responsible, but there is no doubt whatsoever that we are a safe haven for terrorists.

We have no case on that front after Osama and Hafiz Saeed, and we must clean up our act.

Thought after the 2014 APS attack, the Pak army was on the offensive against terrorists and had cleared out the majority of them in recent years?

It is not about India’s botched mission and the lies of its media. It is about their stance that Pakistan provides protection to terrorists.

It is not an accusation that is simply an Indian propaganda - it is an accusation that is charged against Pakistan on a global level.

When all your neighbors and the vast majority of countries accuse you of something, you can no longer live in denial. Besides, Pakistan has no leg to stand on after Osama and Hafiz Saeed etc.

There are several terrorists groups that are on the payroll of ISI. They are still roaming freely and are even allowed to contest in elections.

The ones who are not have been successfully eliminated which has greatly improved the security situation in the country.

The crackdown should have started earlier, but when the military lost their own children, they could no longer hold back.

It is now time to deal with the financed terrorists as well. However, that is obviously not going to happen.

Are we not cleaning up?

Do you actually believe Imran Khan was not sincere with his offer to India?

Please do not hypothesized.

you need to stop this.

Pakistan made sincere offer to them, If Pakistan were not to act provided strong evidence, then you can sit on your keyboard and talk about it and I will fully back you.

it is one thing to praise pakistanis on a forum hoping for some praise and favourite poster award, but another to praise them when you signed up as a soldier ready to give the supreme sacrifice for the motherland. can't believe this so called soldier is showing no jazba or ghairat. if he wanted to talk about peace and good relations he should have joined some ngo, and not waste the space which could have gone to a proud indian mujahid. pakistan should keep him captive, we have no place for such people.
