"Promote peace and humanity" lol. It'll only promote hatred against Shah Rukh and Muslims in general. Shah Rukh probably doesn't even care about the issue as he's living a very comfortable life in India. He knows where his bread is buttered and is simply producing a show that would appeal to the Indian market. Bard of blood is a fictional series based on book by the same name. I don't think srk did any wrong by co producing it With Netflix. It was known for long time before current india-pak tension & Kashmir events that Netflix is adapting "bard of blood" with srk as producer.

A bunch of American movies have/had Russian villains. It's part of information warfare. It sells when the perceived villain is the actual villain in the movies so the viewers get instant gratification when the hero prevails over the villain. That's why it sells. A tweet is ineffective compared to a movie or a series that will exist in popular memory for a long time. Yes it also helps erase Abhinandan or Kulbhushan type incident from collective memory. Perception is reality and there is nobody better than Hollywood and Bollywood to do that.

Well that looks terrible. No problems with Bollywood making anti-Pakistan stuff. It's weird and petty but if that's what sells in India then fair enough. If anything, it's a bit surprising to me how much hate Indians have in their hearts for Pakistan. That hatred has never been mutual.

The bigger issue I see with a series like this or Sacred Games is that if anything it will increase the anti-Muslim sentiment in India. You're putting out product that is continuously vilifying one group of people constantly and that too a minority. The perception of Muslims in India is going to only get worse. The attitude of the people towards Indian Muslims will only get worse. To imply that being Muslim will make them loyal to Pakistan (as they seem to be doing here and did in Sacred Games) is a ridiculous thing to do. It's worse when it's coming from a guy named Shahrukh Khan or Saif Ali Khan unfortunately.

Bollywood seems to be following the same Hollywood blue print of making stuff associated with enemies of their countries.

Wether you like it or not, Bollywood industry is quite strong, and to appeal to their audience a good way of making money is focusing on your countries enemies or things that your country love to hate.
Ofcourse the opposing side will not appreciate it, but have not much power to retaliate.

You wont hear of block buster movies/tv shows coming out of Russia or Saudi Arabia. So the best we can do is avoid watching such garbage

Turned out to be a average time pass series. from what I heard Production values & cinematography , locations were great but overall story was hollow.

I had read the book it was bang average and routine stuff. the author tried to mixed too many things with main plot & ended up making it bland.
