Naa. Sanath is bottom hand player. Raw wrist power. Abhishek is top hand player. So there is a certain elegance in bat swing you see with Yuvraj singh. They showed that bat swing tracker in one of the series. It is beautiful. Jayasuriya was anything but elegant. His off side cut shot may remind some of Jayasuriya. But execution is different. Is this Abhishek Sharma is mirror copy of sanath Jayasuriya?

Man of the series in last 2 series including Asia cup where he broke all time runs record (for t20s). Also was the highest scorer in the India England t20 series this year.Player of the series again. After winning POTS in Asia cup.
Followed By in terms of searches or they are following him?Pak players need to follow his batting style... not follow him on Social Media.
More volume of searches? WowPak players need to follow his batting style... not follow him on Social Media.
I guarantee most of them were girls who did the search.Pak players need to follow his batting style... not follow him on Social Media.
Tacky surface. His game is somewhat based on prediction. His feet moves accordingly.Struggles against length ball.

BaldCourtesy to Indian highways and powerplays, but still a great feat

Or that 35 year old sahibzada lolWhat is king Bobsy doing on Karachi highways?
Was asia cup also on Indian flat pitches? He was the most run scorer and the man of the series.Baldbro, this guy is a T20 tulla on Indian flat pitches. This needs to be a taken with a big pinch of salt but congrats.
Literally was the highest scorer and man of the series in Asia cup outside IndiaCourtesy to Indian highways and powerplays, but still a great feat

And in Australia as well striking at 161 averaging 40Literally was the highest scorer and man of the series in Asia cup outside India
But hey keep crying and lying, it makes the bitterness way more enjoyable.

Business as usual.
The most devastating T20 batter currently
On his way to becoming ATG. Utter selflessness. Even though he could have made a 100 he didn't want to slow downBusiness as usual.

I don't think there has ever been a batsman in this format who has played cricket like a video-game. SKY had some fantastic numbers at the start but he has even left peak-SKY in the dust.On his way to becoming ATG. Utter selflessness. Even though he could have made a 100 he didn't want to slow down
Striking at 190 over his career. There will be a reversion at some point. I'm not sure this is sustainable beyond a point.I don't think there has ever been a batsman in this format who has played cricket like a video-game. Once the form is down make him bowl a bit more. That way he can have breathing space to find his form againStriking at 190 over his career. There will be a reversion at some point. I'm not sure this is sustainable beyond a point.
Yep. He needs to bowl a bit. Even Rinku should bowl. 1-2 overs a match when there is no pressure.Once the form is down make him bowl a bit more. That way he can have breathing space to find his form again
Yeah, I'm more interested to see how he does when bowlers start figuring out his weaknesses. Because that lull will come. Still the fact that he has even been able to do it for this long is in itself pretty amazing and unprecedented.Striking at 190 over his career. There will be a reversion at some point. Maybe after the T20 WC. He should replace the other Sharma.Abhishek is at his peak. India must include him in ODI's straightaway in preparation for World cup
His weakness is bouncer on his body. Either Full or too short he will punish all dayYeah, I'm more interested to see how he does when bowlers start figuring out his weaknesses. @RedwoodOriginal and @TheSultan seem to be chikka lovers maybe they can make itWhen are we making, the Abhishek Sharma v Sahibzada Farhan thread.
Pretty impressive stat - that’s like a less than 29 ball 50 done a 100 times!! And the guy is a clean hitter.Courtesy to Indian highways and powerplays, but still a great feat

Actually I think we need a Rizwan v Abhishek Sharma thread. What do you guys think? who is the best GOAT modern-day T20 opener? I think it's pretty close. Abhishek can hit some pretty big blows but I doubt he can play 40-50 balls in a T20 match like the Rizman@RedwoodOriginal and @TheSultan seem to be chikka lovers maybe they can make it
Yeah but on low bounce pitches he can pull those for six too. The key is probably catching him when he's coming down the pitch to you. Which he does alot to fast-bowlers.His weakness is bouncer on his body. Either Full or too short he will punish all day![]()

Comparing a keeper to a pure batter is sheer stupidity but you already knew thatActually I think we need a Rizwan v Abhishek Sharma thread. Shows what you know about cricket. Abhishek Sharma is not a pure batter, he is a batting all-rounder.Comparing a keeper to a pure batter is sheer stupidity but you already knew that
Only Babar is capable of matching this Rizwan's skill from Pak!Shows what you know about cricket. Abhishek Sharma is not a pure batter, he is a batting all-rounder.
And why not? We are comparing their ability to open the batting. Like I said, Abhishek is a dangerous player who can hit big sixes but very few T20 batsmen in the world can compete with Rizwan when it comes to occupying the crease. Most batsmen can't even think about lasting 50-55 balls in a T20 match like the modern-day GOAT T20 opener.

Pant was the most consistent test bat for 5+ years and still had average performance last 2 series. That's the opposite of being figured out. He had a longer run than Babar in testsI think teams will eventually figure him out just like Pant has been figured out.
As of now, Abishek is a T20 hack.![]()
Pant will end his career has a better batsman than Gilchirst, with better body of work. Sharma is already better T20 batsman than anyone produced by BD in their entire existence, probably even Pak.Pant was the most consistent test bat for 5+ years and still had average performance last 2 series. That's the opposite of being figured out. He had a longer run than Babar in tests
Sharma has 1 50+ score in almost every 3 T20 innings. That's the epitome of consistency.
Your takes get dumber and dumber by the day.

67(19)* Abhishek is yet to play a dot ball.![]()
Hazlewood, in Australia, is the only bowler who has kept him on a leash, somewhat, so far in his career.Abhishek has 2 weak zones. Good length outside off and short into his body.
Hazlewood imo is the best bowler to exploit these 2 weaknesses since he has the control and bounce to target both.

Where was the Asia Cup held?As of now, he is a home track bully and a bilateral bully.
His real tests would be ICC events.
Bhai post WC he will say he hasn't performed in Sylhet khets.... Don't feedWhere was the Asia Cup held?
SAAR RIZWAN IS WORLD T20 CHAMPIONS SAAR.I have been trying to analyse Abishek Sharma for a few weeks now. Visually he appears to be a tulla who hasn't been worked out yet. Targeted bouncers chest high will make him dance around the crease and he struggles against quality spin and sheer pace. He has been getting away with it against docile attacks on home pitches where they have 50m boundaries but can he replicate it in big tournaments against big sides when they target his weaknesses?
He averages only 31 away from home and 24 in South Africa. Even in the Asia Cup he laid an egg in the final.

I never said he was. However, he was at least won a PSL title. Your fake "King" Kholi took 18 years to win his LOLSAAR RIZWAN IS WORLD T20 CHAMPIONS SAAR.![]()

Why did it take kohli 18 years? Kamran Akmal won it on his first attemptPSL? We are not talking about pension leagues here.![]()

Cannot compare 50m IPL boundaries to BBL for example. Stats without context are meaningless.
King has won one ICC World Cup , 2 ICC Champion trophy , 1 world T20.Why did it take kohli 18 years? Kamran Akmal won it on his first attempt

No opinion about T20 from someone who thinks Rizwan is a T20 champ can be taken seriously. YI have been trying to analyse Abishek Sharma for a few weeks now. dont lie, Kholi never one PSL either. Also, people don't care much about these pension leaguesI never said he was. However, he was at least won a PSL title. Your fake "King" Kholi took 18 years to win his LOL
no one talks up Finn Allen because only country against which he has good record is Pakistan. Otherwise he has a pretty ordinary average at high SR. he doesn't stay long enough to make much difference to end result. But he is definitely a good player who can make a huge impact for NZAll of the top 3 in this list are dangerous batters. Finn Allen is probably the least talked about because he doesn't have the Indian PR machine behind him and hasn't made a mark in the IPL. But I expect all three; Abhishek, Allen and Brevis to have good tournaments.

Average lol moment you use the word average you loare all credibility. A reason why loser batsman like Rizwan even had a career.I have been trying to analyse Abishek Sharma for a few weeks now.
