It’s silly how he’s defended by he can win a match on his day, he’s an impact player. He hardly ever performs or even scores fast, that’s why he averages 22 at 129 SR. Theres no point waiting 10 games for him to fire. The reason why Rizwan and Babar are performing as they’re almost scoring every other game. And they are significantly helping us win every other game as a result not 1 in 10. That average is also pretty kind to him, he’s been way worse in recent years even in ODIs while still respectful there’s quite a big fall off in average.
I’d get in someone else for no.3, countries have players with good records there, averaging over 30 at a healthy strike rate let alone just better than 22. I’d get in Masood, and shunt fakhar further down the order if we don’t want to drop him.
