First i am not against Fakhar but it's a fact that he failed in Asia 2023, 3 ODIs against Afghanistan played in July and threw his wicket against Netherlands in this WC. Hence rightly replaced by Abdullah. I am not sure if you are aware, even Fakhar himself accepted that he was struggling and he worked on his technique.
Secondly, Stats never gives you correct picture in fact sometimes they are misleading as well. Fakhar made his ODI debut in 2017 and out of Fakhar's 11 hundreds, 2 came against Zim, 1 against Netherlands & 3 against New Zealand in back to back ODIs series played at home this year only. He really has good average because he remained not out after scoring 4 big hundreds. Misbah & Imad Wasim also have batting average of 43 in ODIs
See match wise score of Fakhar in this picture, no doubt he has scored some big back to back hundreds but then he has lots of 1-10 & 10-20 scores
