Gareth Delany, born April 28, 1997, is an Irish cricketer who made his international debut in July 2019. He was awarded a central contract by Cricket Ireland in January 2020, a first for the organization. Delany's domestic career began in 2017 with Leinster Lightning, playing in various formats. He was selected for the Ireland Wolves squad in June 2019 and later debuted in T20Is against Zimbabwe. Delany was part of Ireland's squad for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier and made his ODI debut against the West Indies in January 2020. He has since been named in Ireland's squads for various tours and tournaments, including the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

I thought Ireland would score less than the average benchmark of 78 set by Sri Lanka. However, Gareth Delany ensured Ireland surpassed that benchmark with a scorching 26 off 14 balls. Ireland ended up scoring 97 all out in 16 overs.

Like the look of this guy. He's a bottom hand batter and can hit big hits if he reads early. His bowling is pretty serviceable as well.
I hope he can get to spend some time in county and get better all round.
Or maybe his batting could get developed if he gets to play BBL or Vitality Blast.
