Sahibzada Farhan shared following thoughts in post match press conference today:
🗣 **Support for Babar Azam**
“I’m happy with how I’ve come out of a poor patch after a couple of tough games. I especially liked the focus on strike rotation. As for Babar, he’s one of the best players. Everyone supports him and cares deeply whenever he plays. We’re confident he’ll deliver in the upcoming matches, Inshallah.”

**Crowd Support and Team Unity**
“It’s the same team, the same boys. Babar is part of us, not from another side. We’re glad the crowd supports him and us too. I always enjoy batting with him. He deserves the backing he gets, and that’s what drew the crowd’s attention.”

**Hard Work, Domestic Cricket, and Permanence**
“Alhamdulillah, I’ve topped the domestic charts for four years and also led the PSL. But after a few quiet games, my brother reminded me not to relax because competition is always there. I had a long chat with Fakhar today; he explained things with his experience and reminded me that Allah rewarded me with this performance. Whenever I feel stuck, I go to him for advice.”

**Role of PSL vs. Domestic Performance**
“Since I topped both the domestic circuit and the PSL, it was natural that my performances there helped me earn a place in the team. PSL is a strong brand, but I proved myself in both arenas.”
🗓 **Ambitions Beyond T20**
“As a player, I want to play Test cricket too. It’s the format that brings pride to Pakistan. I’ve done well in ODIs with an average above 40, but our current openers are performing strongly. If the team needs me, I’m ready.”

**Addressing the Dot Ball Issue**
“I worked closely with our batting coach, reviewing my videos. He explained that after hitting a boundary, I should focus on rotating the strike with singles or doubles. That’s what I applied today, and I think my strike rate showed improvement.”

**Playing Position and Targeting Bowlers**
“From the start, I was an opener in four-day, ODIs, and T20s. But when Babar and Rizwan were performing brilliantly, you couldn’t break that pair. The 5th or 6th spot was open, so I accepted it happily. I knew my time as opener would come. As for bowlers, I believe in targeting the best ones. Even if I fail, I’m fine with it, because putting pressure on a top bowler makes the rest easier to face.”
