Much much better batter than Usman Khan and definitely Rizwan. Honestly we are wasting a spot playing either usman and rizwan, so i would rather just play Khawaja.

Give him all three games against Australia, will truly test him.

If he comes off in one game aswell, will be great for his confidence.

Sometimes you just have to throw them in young in international cricket.

I was apprehensive about Maaz, however I fully expect him to come in post WC. But Nafay is different, in that he has the tools, now just needs the reps. I hope both selectors and the general public are patient w/ him because he could fill a big middle order shaped hole in the T20 team.

I am all sold. Usman out, Nafay in. We should have him and Hasan nawaz as gun strikers up at the top. This is the keeper-bat we were looking for. I am VERY impressed.

Yes needs to be backed, granted 1 game but I like what I saw, he is a better batter than Usman and I think is more fit too, he will not do worse the Usman Khan, that is for sure, Nafay in the squad for world cup and in the playing eleven.

Saim is also a liability atm.. He is also not bowling atm and his batting has been under the dirt as well... But yeah, better to let him open with Farhan...
Agha will play at 3 no matter what, so cannot say anything about it...

Nafay at 4 ahead of Usman is a good one... Fakhar is already not performing so need to get rid of burden..

I will be really happy to be proved wrong but I just don't think he will cut it at the international level. He is not a keeper and there are better, more talented batters than him (Maaz, Hasan N.). That said, good luck to him if he gets selected for the WC. He can't get a better chance to prove himself.

Assuming that's a serious statement, its arguable. Usman is technically deficient, but at least has proven his worth at the domestic and PSL level. Of the two, he is probably also the better keeper. Nafay is neither the best talent in the country, nor has he done a lot at the domestic level. He is a left field choice, the reasons for which still elude me. He wasn't even a part of the Shaheens in the Asia cup. Interestingly both Samad and Nafay were playing the Hong Kong sixes at that time and now both find themselves in the list of WC probables.
