My question is how an earth did he even manage to get the exact Indian test team shirt with his name and number printed on it?
You have to question the level of security at the ground.
This guy could have done anything.
It's a problem around the world and sooner or later there is going to be a very nasty incident.

And here he is again!

Third class security but because it's England we're all supposed to find it funny.
I hate pitch invaders. Whether it's those selfish kids in football or clowns like this guy who think they're just having a laugh. All laws should be voided when it comes to dealing with them. A few get a sound thrashing and no one will find it funny ever again :symmo
Lighten up, it’s probably the most entertaining thing that’s happened in the match.

What kind of security they have? Anyone can come up to bat and field during an ongoing match in England it seems?![]()
Pitch invaders of any age color or gender are idiots.
We had a few running up to imad wasim aswell during the england series.
This seems to be a problem in the UK and people dont seem to care at all.
You see someone run on the pitch in pakistan and there would be a huge issue made out of it especially during covid times.
You have guys like this jarvo or that dumb kid who went to hug imad waseem running around on the pitch and getting away with it
The fact that the same guy could get on the pitch twice is quite alarming. A large man wearing pads and a helmet is not exactly Usain Bolt, yet he managed to reach the actual wicket. What are the security guards doing?
Is Jarvo available to open in our test line-up?

His lardy self collided with Pope there.
Let’s see him try that with Stokes.
The ground security should be questioned. This is not funny and can be dangerous
Not much extra the stewards can do to be fair. There's always going to be gaps between them around the boundary and expecting them to identify a single individual among the tens of thousands of people entering the ground isn't realistic.
if it was so easy to barge in,it would be happening every match.
tbf ive often wondered what would happen if i ran onto the cricket field, ive been lucky enough to visit a lot of grounds around the UK and i always love to sit on the first row closest to the field, like a few posters have pointed out theres literally an advertising board and a few disinterested stewards between you and the field if you time it right it isn't actually that hard to get onto the pitch.
The question that should be asked is how did he get into the stadium in the first place someone as popular as him now you would have his picture in all the security briefings and team meetings.,
just going to throw a curveball out there aswell and ask what would have happened if he was asian or black, and how frequently would he have been allowed to recreate this tunt.
Most of the people on the gates are agency staff being paid minimum wage who likely have little interest in cricket and arrived about an hour before the gates opened. They're then also expected to get tens of thousands of people through the gates/bag searches/metal detector scans in quick time. There's no way they're going to recognise the bloke (who can quite easily also just stick a cap and a mask on) and stop him.
So when Headingley say they have banned him for life, does it mean they cant do this? What legal recourse does the ground management have in such cases?

They can block him from buying tickets under his own name, but that doesn't stop anyone else buying tickets for him or just using a different name to bypass that and like I said, realistically he's not going to be recognised on entry.
They can fine people £1000 but the police/CPS aren't likely to normally see if as worthwhile to pursue prosecution. For a repeat offender doing it for attention for his own financial gain such as this they may now be more inclined to.
Agreed tough to get this guy - seems times for higher fences in England coming up soon. Only a matter of time before a Jarvo copycat hurts a player intentionally (or even by accident)
Hearing that Jarvo has been arrested on suspicion of assault and is in custody at a south London Police station.
Pitch invader Daniel 'Jarvo' Jarvis was arrested on Friday after an on-field collision with England batsman Jonny Bairstow during day two of the fourth Test at The Kia Oval.
Jarvis, a self-styled YouTube prankster with 123,000 subscribers, had previously walked out with the India team at Lord's and appeared in full batting kit at Emerald Headingley.
His third appearance of the series took things a step further, though, as he ran in to bowl at Ollie Pope and crashed into an unsuspecting Bairstow at the non-striker's end.
Bairstow held his ground but was clearly surprised at the incident and there was clear agitation among the Indian team, with captain Virat Kohli seen in close conversation with the umpires after Jarvis was led off the pitch.
A statement from the Metropolitan Police read: "A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident at the Oval Cricket Ground on Friday, 3 September. He remains in custody at a south London police station."
An England and Wales Cricket Board spokesperson said: "Any pitch invasion is completely unacceptable. The ECB and our host venues do not tolerate any such behaviour which risks the safety of players, officials and staff. The ECB works closely with all our venues to share information and enhance their security operation."
His lardy self collided with Pope there. Those that find his nonsense funny wouldn't be chuckling if one of their favorite players was attacked by a similarly endearing idiot who turned out to be a total psycho.
Im pretty sure Jarvo got on to the field for the Jacksonville Jaguars today in the NFL London game.
Jarvo's a man of many talents it seems.

Jarvo is back and this time he rushed in with and Indian outfitduring India vs Autralia World Cup match. Always here to support LOL.
Pretty funny that a career criminal was able to get a visa in time but a British BBC commentator wasn't.
And many thousands of Pakistan fans.
absolute legend. Not surprised at the brown boomers whining about it tho
Proving my point … mate, chill out. I’m not idolising him but I am open to laugh at his victimless crimes.Of all the people you could idolise, a guy with 21+ criminal convictions (including prison time), for actions that include puttiting innocent people in hospital, probably isn't one of them...
Surely the BCCI knew this guy is here and is going to make an appearanceJarvo has been banned by the ICC from attending any more World Cup matches.
