A few fans will run their mouth in every sport, this is normal and expected, not sure why anyone is surprised and feels the need to point this out.
Such behaviour is quite clearly not the norm. Please remind us of the last time this happened to an Indian/BD/SL team players as in general the south asian fans are supposedly the most fanatical/emotional when it comes to cricket. Yes it was the norm in the 90s for Indian fans as well but they seem to have grown out of it. Yes, they have been performing much better but thats clearly not the only reason.
as to your opinion of UK pakistani fans being the best of the lot, well i couldnt disagree more. Ive had the chance to engage with fellow fans in stadiums both in Pak and and in the UK, and the later have always been as bad if not even worse than the ones back home. Two species of desi's particularly...The first ones think theyre doing the Pakistani cricket team a huge favor because theyve bought tickets to see them play in the UK and thus have this self entitlement delusion where they think their right to abuse the players in whatever way they deem appropriate if they dont play well.
The second group consists mostly of folks who typically have very little formal educations, with ancestory related to a specific part of Pakistan and to whom the whole verbal abuse/profanity culture comes very naturally. I will not expound further on this as it would take an ethnic/racial tinge.
