How would you rate Saifullah Bangash. Batting wise he has same potential as Rehan Afridi I am slightly inclined towards him because he bats with a good SR of 76 seems like a dynamic player like Sarfaraz.
Currently best wicket keeper in our domestic, also he is a very good batsman. Sooner IA we will see him with A Team. But he need to score in this season, otherwise we may see Adnan Akmal again and again.

Uptil now
Saifullah averages 37 with 1 hundred
Rehan averages 43 with 5 hundreds.
Saifullah scored double century in qualifying round and in good form but he got a duck in first QEA match this season. Time to cash in on good form and score big runs.
Rehan scored century last game and today he scored 88 of 115 balls at a good SR of around 75.

Oh Sorry I missed him. Yes Saifullah Bangash is quality . A grade wicket keeper batsman.
For Pakistan A the competition should be between Rehan Afridi and Saifullah Bangash.
Saifullah is hardly 20 years old and last year was his first FC season that too for a department and he impressed . Probably he was highest run getter for SSGC last season. Impact player .
Saif Bangash has done well in FC, but he wasn't that good at U19 level. I hope it's a case of him improving rather than poor standard of domestic cricket.

In the qualifying round match in which Babar Azam scored a century he made a double century they play for the same team so his performances are definitely not fluke.
Played directly in worldcup as another keeper was the main wicketkeeper may be that's why could not shine . Rehan is ahead uptil now in terms of experience and performance with Saifullah just behind.
How's his keeping? In his first or second Fc game Rehan Afridi scored his first FC hundred at a Strike rate above 70.
He is the best cricketer of FATA region.
He is taller than Rizwan and sarfraz and is slim smart. Much fitter than sarfraz and a little less fit than Rizwan who has top fitness levels.
Rehan Afridi scored 2 or 3 Fc hundreds in his first FC season playing for abbotabad or peshawar at that time.
This year he signed with SBP or ZTBL but they did not qualify so he is representing FATA.
He was doing very well but since pakistan A squad got announced with Saifullah Bangash preferred over him he isn't among runs . May be a case of disheartened athlete or he is injured ¿
He is a technically correct batsman who plays with positive intend and has batted at different positions of number 4 to number 7 with mostly batting in the middle order.
In my view he should be the wicket keeper for Pakistan A team for 50 overs and 4 day matches.
Unfortunately he isn't in the reckoning book of selectors and PCB where in last 2 years they have given chances to adnan Akmal and bismillah khan while completely ignoring him. Now for T20 matches with England Lions Saifullah Bangash has been selected who is quite good but not better than Rehan Afridi in experience and record.

He played from Abbotabad region and from what i remember he made tons in both innings, 115 and 135 or something like this.
It was hilarious that management preferred Saifullah over Rehan Afridi.
Rehan isn't a slogger, a technical sound batsman both for ODI and Test format. But sadly he isn't under the radar of PCB yet, but hope sooner he will gain attention and at least he will make into A squad.
Honestly i never found Zia impressive. I was impressed with Taj Wali but with time he has regressed. Wasnt impressive in the Haier T20 at all. But lets see if he can regain his old touch. Tough task ahead.I don't know much about Rehan Afridi but in this very forum everybody was lamenting the fact that Zia Ul Haq was being preferred in A squad over Taj wali when Taj wali is clearly the better bowler but now we know PCB was right Zia is the 2nd highest wicket taker in this years QEA trophy and Taj Wali is no where near the top 10.
Bear in mind this is a T-20 squad selection Rehan Afridi has played 15 or so T-20 with a SR of 90 while Bangash has played 2 with a SR of 119 maybe they think Rehan Afridi is not a dynamic player.

Thats quite an interesting achievement.Taj Wali has taken 4 wickets in 4 balls again the top order of PQA. They were 50/0. He made it 50/4 in 4 balls. Last time Ali gohar 20 years ago in 1995 did this in our domestic cricket.
Both Zia and Taj are inconsistent. Let's see how many wickets they get at the end of season. Cricket lover 27
i have heard rehan afridi is going to get selected in pakistan A one day side
Clean hitter with a T20 sr of 101He is one of the cleanest hitters of the cricket ball in Pakistan at the moment who can hit the big shots consistently. Today, he started his innings with a might 6 over deep mid-wicket.
No he's not. He's miles worse than the like of Saad Nasim and that tells you something. I played against him in England and he was beyond average. His clubs mates were out performing him comfortably while he was overseas. Was averaging around 20 odd lol.He is one of the cleanest hitters of the cricket ball in Pakistan at the moment who can hit the big shots consistently.
