[VIDEOS] Why does Shadab Khan keep getting selected?

Because of his performances in PSL, the IU captain helped his side to remove the danger looking Sam Billings in the opener of PSL X. Also in his very first over.

Bowled lots of rubbish and got away with it mostly and then shrewdly held himself back hoping to bowl to tailenders. Abdullah was foolish to charge Naseem knowing that Shadab had one over left.

He is the most non-serious cricketer amongst all senior players. He doesn't want to play test cricket at all despite being a part of set up since 2017, I don't know what he has learned from Saqlain so far. His bowling will never improve by bowling just 4 overs

Saqlain is not honest with him about his bowling it appears
 
It seems like Shadab Khan is playing for Peshawar Zalmi... serving his all time favourite full tosses and half crackers to their batters lol

The guys our future captain like it or not. It’s obviously frustrating not seeing him reach his potential, he’s even got less fit. But he’s the next leader. And he should have been appointed it as soon as Babar left the first time. He was being groomed that position for years, I’m sure PCB expected him to take over if he hadn’t lost form.

I’d make him captain in t20 and let him usher in the new era.

So you want to ''usher'' in the new are with a captain who has regressed so badly he is not even International standard anymore.

How do so many people get fooled by PSL performances? When it comes to Int cricket, Shadab does not even know whether he is a batsman or bowler. He will get smashed again the moment he faces quality teams at the International level.

The guy is one of the best players in PSL season after season. He’s not a world beater but as an allrounder he stands out in PSL he’s by far the best overall. In fact the only other competition is Imad Wasim who is comparable but way too old now. As i said before while he’s not brilliant, I think he’s the strongest out of the alternatives even if he’s not hitting his full potential. And he represents the modern player, batting, fielding, bowling, captaincy he’s really a true allrounder in PSL. And top of that he’s the only one young enough to really have any longevity. Even though we moan about his international performances, he actually has an actual decent international record. Even though it’s weighted to good performances early on. Shows he has ability to be international standard. A lot of the others have no international decent record to speak of.

I’d take the risk, maybe he’ll get his act together with the added responsibility of captaincy. I’m positive he’ll become captain regardless sooner or later so we might as well do it now.

For better or for worse Shadab will take us in a fresh new direction in t20s. And we just badly need change and switching up in that format now.
 
Confidence shown by some of the posters in Shadab is mind boggling. I maintain that Shadab is a fraud who cant win you international matches with bat or ball.

but he could have won us lot of fantasy points tonight but unfortuately nobody would have picked him.
 
Encouraging signs from Sheddy. We need him back to form to balance the side. It's no coincidence our slump as a T20 slide coincided with a slump in Shadab output.
 
The Fraud Shadab bats at 4 leaving Shahzad and Haider Ali at 6 & 7.

When the fact is he can't even score >10 runs in international side against A sides of top teams.
