He looks like he can pace an innings, and play the ball on it's merits, that in itself is a quality for a Pakistan batsman. But the shot he got out to showed poor footwork against the short ball, I think I'd have to see more innings to see what his limitations are, can't really judge from one short knock.

but the confidence and control with he scored his 40 odd runs was really great. You are right. It's been a long time that we have seen a good cricketing knock from a Pakistani. but still early days.
