There is very low percentage of muslim women who cover their face because of religious reason. I think its not even 1%. But there was lot of hue and cry against them. Rules were made against them. They were humiliated and scorned publicly. As a reason they had to either stay in home or face hatred if they come out in public. There were 3 strikes against them: 1) they are women 2) they are muslim 3) they cover their face. Some of them had to left their jobs to keep covering their face.
Nowadays I see so many people wearing masks and life is still going on. So life would have gone on ok at that time also when those muslim women were covering their faces. Was the world too cruel towards face covering muslim women at that time? After this virus issue is resolved (Insha Allah), will the world be more sympathetic towards face covering muslim women and let them live their life?
