I had the opportunity to watch day 3 & day 4 of Edgbaston test this week and man what a treat it was

Almost a full house in a Test match, beautiful weather (apart from a small rain break and the rain wasn't that strong), amazing crowd and amazing banter with the Indian crowd and even players.

Given I have seen a lot of cricket (pre-covid), this for me falls in line with the famous Oval Test (Eng v Pak under Misbah) and Ben Stokes Ashes Test.

Its was an amazing atmosphere and the amount of heads in the stands for a Test match was unbelievable.

True that the concentration levels amongst the audience are not that high and people eat, drink & chatter a lot, but it is still an amazing experience.

I also find Indian fans fun to be with.

Honestly, Indians and Pakistani fans enjoy the game in good spirits (Ct-17 group game, CT-17 Final and T20 Dubai are my benchmarks) and although I was a Pakistani fan, supporting England and bantering Jadeja, Thakur and Shami on the ropes, the massive Indian contingent around me were enjoying it.

ALL Hail Test cricket

I watched some of the Sahara Cup games in Toronto in the 90s with Indian fans and have to admit it wasnt that much fun! Had to be careful when cheering for Pakistan :D

Great to hear positive crowd feedback from Edgbaston!

Sounds fun! how was the mood of the crowd at the end of day 4?
