To think Garry Sobers was literally in tears just a few months ago lamenting the demise of WI cricket.

But the triple victories - men, women and U19s hopefully will spur a revival of interest in cricket in the Caribbean.

Good to see W.I win this and other 2 trophies, goes to show cricket in shorter formats for W.I isnt dead.

What a comeback. As a WI fan, I'm hopeful that WI will rise again in all formats in the future.

Their test and ODI cricket is still terrible bro but they are defn the best in format.

They are not great in ODI but maybe they would had performed better you can't tell with them and their board!

WICB cannot afford to screw this up again. Been too many false dawns in past like 2004 CT and 2012 T20WC.

If this can re-ignite interest in the islands for cricket again then hopefully in the long run they can turn things around in other formats.

Better-than-Botham served up four half volleys in the final over to throw away a world cup victory. Incredible!
 
Sky sports team getting mad at samuel and sammy comments saying players are not allowed to speak like that on air and to media. Sanagakara sided with west indian players and explained the situation and their journey and what this means to them. Superb Sanaga, respect.
 
It will really be good to see some kind of Windies resurgence in cricket after this. Windies need to make a comeback in the ODI and Test formats too. WICB and the players need to make nice.

At least he didn't have to be pushed away like the BCB or BCCI chairman. He knew he had to give the trophy and leave the stage for their players.

Not sure but Warne must have said something. Warne holds his grudge for a very long time. Warne went after Samuel in his last BBL season after Samuel grabbed on to Hussey to prevent himself from getting out. Warne got all the heat, but Samuels was just being an arrse. Warne said few words in that same match after Malinga broke Samuel's face.
