Sarwan didn't even need to look back when that caught and bowled was being taken..

Not many people did, realistically.

Obviously, if you're in the team then you always believe. Being a spectator allows for more realism. I'm not saying it's impossible, I just said don't bet on it.

Actually if you know Pakistan cricket then you know these are the situation we thrive in, therefore most of us still had faith.

One thing I do know is we won't lie down Like SL and now WI are to Aus.

Well history will repeat on Friday.... Once again a Pakistani side will beat an unbeaten team in an ICC tourny. InshaAllah!!

I think you'll find, most people expected a loss. Check the posts pre-game.

Can WI get to 100 here? LOL.

Great effort from young Smithy to get a couple from actually spinning the ball. Not Test material yet by any means but the fact that he can bat is a bonus.

Now to bring Tait and Nannes back for some chin music to finish them off.

He's had the benefit of coming in when teams are on the back foot. If Pakistan get a decent start on Friday, Smith will be taken to the cleaners.

Pointless shot, should have just looked to bat the overs.

Can't wait to see that... :umarakmal :afridi

Fazeer is having a rant in the commentary box.

Your a pessimist, no problem.

This is horrible from WI.

Surprisingly, I'm usually an ultra-optimist. Admitedly, I've been pretty negative about Pakistan's hopes this tournament but with the likes of Hafeez, Misbah and Sami in a team of just 11 players, you can't blame me. :yk

Dropped catch (by Aus standards).

Is that Fazeer having a rant or Ganga?

Must be Ganga. Fazeer isn't part of the commentary team.

I'm not watching the match though.

Hopeless drop from Clarke. It was a tough chance but he should have taken it!

It must be hard being a one man band.

Feel sorry for the loyal Windies fans after their side being only one of two teams to dominate cricket.

WI are virtually 73/9, that's the total they're having to defent.

the experienced guys such as sarwan, Shiv and bravo need to pull their finger out. They have been a disgrace

Lets be honest, they are o.k players in T20 but at this level will always come up short. A team needs at least 4 or 5 brilliant T20 batters, if one fails there are other options. Windies only have 1.

I would of thought bravo and pollard would be made for 2020

"Excessive bounce in the pitch in Barbados" Sunny Gavaskar.

It's called a good cricket pitch!

wow big benn hits a 6. Maybe she should of opened the batting. He puts the rest to shame

Shot by Big Benn.

Bravo is an o.k battter, he's a better fielder and bowler.

Pollard smashed it around on some Indian track in the so called Champions League and got hyped up, he has failed in International T20 with an average of just over 10.

Timbers, Windies 105 all out.

Yet antoher clinical performance from the Aussies.

Abdul Rehman could open the bowling on Friday. The two W's prefer facing pace early on.

The second W gone. Big Benn strikes, the crowd wakes up.

If Windies can take a few more wickets it will put questions in the batters minds ahead of Friday.

Just reading this rant from the times of India. :)))

At the risk of repeating myself I would again say the time has come to ask the crucial question: does the IPL have anything to do with our pathetic performance? For there is a persistent and noticeable dip in Team India’s T20 fortunes since the IPL began.

We must ask whether the six-week long grueling masala cricket is leaving our players physically tired and emotionally exhausted? Everybody knows that the IPL is great entertainment. But is it coming at cost of Team India? We must ask this hard question to the BCCI.

PS: I want an England-Australia final. Not exactly the Ashes but it should make for compelling viewing.
