How will this affect the rankings?

I think the Indians might drop a few points. Might take us up to 3rd.

Dravid choked on his Lozenge and missed the ball completely.

It will be funny to see how Indian fans will react, i can see " Sack Chappell" gang jumping up and down and blaming him for two defeats in a row.

There arent too many 'top' teams in recent years that have lost 2 consecutive games (any form) to the Windies.

That would worry me if I was an Indian fan.

well done Windies! let's hope that this winning habbit becomes a trend..except against pak ofcourse :D

we beated them with ease ! but we also have won 3 odi series AWAY FROM HOME !

but some play well in sub cont and when they are overseas then they become a bunch of losers :))) :)) :))) :))

Ahh... great game. Well played Sarwan, once again he proves to be our nemesis. I guess this series so far can be summed up as Sarwan vs. India. A brilliant effort by the West Indies, when they lost the 3rd and 4th wicket, it would have been easy to capitulate, but they played with their mind and as i had said, after harbhajan takes a wicket, it is imperative to some how contain him and demoralize him or else he will run through you like a hot knife through butter. Sarwan did just that.

In the end, a great start thrown away by the indian team. The batting order looks rather baland in the absense of Sachin and Yuvraj. And yes, for the Dhoni critics, he is due.

Hope we can bounce back and still win 3-2.

What did I tell you guys before the start of the series?

Everybody was writing the Windies of and saying it would be 5-0 to India. Great win for the Windies.

wheres the indian birgade ? (jusarrived , tupac etc ;)

Looks like the match went just like my day :(

I couldnt follow the match due to work....looks like the Indians missed my support. Too bad how the one day specialists made so many typical one day errors. Like getting too many run outs and wasting a great start into a crappy final 20 overs.

Windies deserved to win if only for Sarwan......

Its funny how some guys transform themselves against some teams.

Superb win by west indies and an excellent knock by sarwan, the 2nd match winning knock in 2 games. Its a mystery why he his test record is so modest but his ODI record is a good one.

Dam another great game, all have gone down to the wire, are they trying to give us heart attacks? dam Well done Windies my 2nd Fav team after Pak, Sarwans back in form, Lara's leading from the front, couldnt get any better!

3 matches- Sarwan = 215 runs

Ya I had seen a lot of posts telling that WI will loose with 5-0 OR 4-1 But I have told that WI will win with 3-2.....So let see what will happen ;-)

Well played Windies.... so will this be a fairy tale 4-1 or will India strike back to take it 3-2 - great test for India - will also set the scene for the test series .

The West Indies have performed way above my expectations so far. They have proven to be more than a match for India in this ODI series......and remember India only JUST won the 1st ODI and that too was thanks to a lot of luck towards the end. It is good because I think the Indians were starting to get a bit big for their boots. They went on a little golden run (something we, as Pakistan fans, are far more use to seeing) and suddenly thought that the entire world should be on their knees in front of them. It is good that they have been brought back down to earth.

This just goes to show how exciting the 2007 World Cup will be. I think it is going to be the most even World Cup in a long time. The West Indies wont win it but don't count them out as minnows as they seem to be a decent side at home.

Never thot we wud be tailing 1-2 to WI ...I expected india to win the series 4-1,not goin to happen now..actually we cud have been 0-3 down by now...india has gifted 2 games now cos of overconfidence n some shitty team selection...yest's batting line up was a joke ..just five batsmen ,with yuvi not playing was a huge risk..if not for shewags innings the total cud have been worse!

All credit to WI ,they r proving that they wont be pushovers n WC...!

congrats to windies...as i said before the series the windies have an awsome chance of beating india, not only because they posses quality batsman like lara, sarwan and chanderpaul, gayle and have plenty of fire power in their bowling...but generall because india are playing out of the subcontinent and decades of doing poorly outside subcontinent is not going suddenly go away...

i must say i was also a little disappointed in dravids after match interview...he wasnt himself and even said that they competed well in all three games despite not playing to the level they can..i would have been happier if he praised the windies...but i think that is the chappel/aussie effect...dont give an inch phycologically...i may be over reacting a little but i didnt think it was called for...

i'm shocked to be honest, i was expecting india to run over this WI team.

looks like sarwan still has some love left for the motherland :91:.

test series is gonna be fun. i feel munaf might give india the edge in tests.

I think both india n WI are very similar teams .....both have a strong batting line up n a not so dependable bowling attack....only diff is though is confidence levels of indian team which even the ozs wud struggle to match these days.

A team with gayle, sarwan ,c'paul, lara ,samules n morton cannot be weak, its only been underperforming...will be interesting if the can pull off a upset series victory!

Very well done to the West Indies team

Sarwan in electric form..India watch out!!

I felt the same way very unlike Dravid...

Congrats to the windies for winning the 3rd odi and taking a 2-1 lead in the odi series with 2 odis to go, all 3 games were close, India gifted the last 2 games away, the Windies just edged out the last two brillliant odis, credit all goes to Sarwan, Chanderpaul and the Windies spinners, they done a splended effort.

Its a good learning expierence for the new inexpierenced Indian bowlers, hopefully they can improve from their mistakes, the Indian seamers have done well in the odi series so far, just need to improve bowling at the death.

I dont see why thier is all this pussycats from Asia talk, and the Indian team is screwed up talk, at the moment this Windies team can overcome the aussies, dont forget before this series, India was winning in a thumping style, and thier still is 2 odis to go, lots of areas for improvement for both teams.

Its been a tense odi series for both side of the fans, we are enjoying it, I'm not dissapointed that the Windies have taken a 2-1 lead, I am happy for the Windies, lets see what can India do in the next 2 odis, I like it when India are put into pressure like this, it brings the best out of most players.
