Hopefully there will be a lively surface for quicks here and we will get a good last game to the series,

Parmanand Singh: "Watching Williamson bat is like watching a hybrid of Dravid, Steve Waugh, and a right-handed Sangakarra. Good to know that we still have players whose technique is referred to a 'classical'. That's why I love this game."

Gah I'd say WI are a bit in front, need to make some inroads early in day 2 tomorrow otherwise WI could get well ahead in the game.

Should be interesting to see how WI's 6 batsmen strategy works out.

Swing king Southee is being spanked  . And some posters believe he can roll over the Pakistani lineup in the UAE. Lol

I thought Southee & Boult were "DA THING" 51/0 in 15 in tests sound like a spanking......

Both are very good just having an off day I guess as lengths have been erratic however Gayle needs to be given credit as no other batsman currently would be playing the way he is and saying that he was peppered and has played and missed a few so scorecard is misleading

Pakistan batsman will allow him to settle into a rhythm and he is very capable of running through our brittle order.

Yes, Pakistan have plenty of players like Gayle who can take the attack to him.

Gayle was done by a few bouncers earlier, he was lucky none of them carried.

First time I've seen Brathwaite, he looks like a solid opener.

Like Southee is gonna be bowling at the WACA. His 135 kph bouncers are not going to trouble even Pakistani batsmen in the UAE.

Sam: "Somewhere, Shane Bond is crying silent tears looking at this toothless NZ bowling. WI are scoring at 5 an over in a Test match even after Gayle has departed!"
