They are doing really well I think. WI attack is almost entirely these two new ball pair, that too for first 12-13 overs. They are scoring at 5+ which is more than decent. If middle order can't cash on such starts, that shouldn't be openers' fault.

That should have been understood before the series. He is not 18 years old unknown kid picked from street. After 23K international runs in 18 years, if PCB's chief selector picks Fakhar, who is in his 9th year in FC cricket, one can't help much.

My point was for a left right opening pair & the mess that MoHa is going to create - either pushing Babar to 4 or start career as PAK No. 4 at the tender age of 40. And, I can categorically tell that Zakir & Fakhar was picked to protect MoHa - one 35+ score, he'll be in UK.
