I think that the skipper batted too slowly to provide insurance against bad weather on Day 5.

So I think it will be a rain-ruined draw.

I go back to my Misbah v Umar Akmal scenario with 15 overs left on Day 3, of which 12 with an old ball. The fourth wicket fell at 186-4.

Pakistan had a better chance of winning if Umar Akmal scored 35 from 40 balls, finished 260-5 after 78 overs and then were 340 all out before Lunch on Day 5, a lead of just 54.

Because Yasir Shah would have had them the current 94-4 an hour before Tea on Day 4 and 160 all out, and Pakistan could have won it last night, rather than sweating on the weather.

Umar Akmal is a disgrace and should be kept as far away from the PAK team as far as possible. Anyone who seriously watches Pakistan tests would understand that. I understand Misbah played too slow to force a result, but Umar Akmal is the last person you want to replace him.

I think it'll be a win for Pakistan provided the weather stays good. West Indies trail by 28 yet have already lost their top 4. It's harder to bat in the second innings, and feel they'll struggle with Yasir given their poor ability against spin generally. WI doesn't have too much batting left.
