if this was an Australian or South African attack, we'd have lost 2-3 wickets already simply because of openers getting frustrated at lack of boundaries...they simply can't milk the 1s n 2s...

If our openers get 50. I'm happy. I'd take this start almost every other game. Except. In 10 overs. Not 13.

this is the difference b/w our current batting line-up and players like yusuf and inzy, who could keep taking ones and twos to start the innings, which would not let your run-rate go down to 3/over and build pressure, while you were getting set without taking risks.

our current crop of batters generally only knows 2 modes:
-> hit fours and six
-> defend.
-> once in a while take a risky single or take one of a shot where there should've been 2.

I agree big time.

This approach from the openers is quite similiar to the one in the opening World cup match - except this time... Both of them haven't given their wicket away cheaply.

Hafeez switching his gear to 6 from 2 - top stuff!

Now relax. You've got the runs this over. Just take a single if you can. DON'T LOSE YOUR MIND.

What is Bishop on about? Hafeez didn't even bowl that much in his early days.

Shehzad seems more composed and mature - let's hope he can keep that up.

well said...Saeed and Sohail were the same, not only did they know how to hit boundaries but they knew the importance of rotating strike as well...

Bishoo is on. Good bowler. We make him look like the second coming of Warne though.

Bishoo v Shehzad - tough time for Shehzad ; Round 2!!
