Pakistan is making a huge mistake in betting on Hafeez... They made the same mistake in early part of last decade by betting on bits and pieces allrounders like Afridi, Malik and Razzaq. Bits and pieces cricketers can never become specialist bowler or batsman.

Pakistan should invest in technically better players, I would invest in Azhar Ali. He can be great investment. He can also be somebody Pakistan can develop for Captaincy...

Can not play like this in loi cricket. You've got to start looking for runs at the word go, none of this playing yourself in. As then once you've played yourself in, you'll also got to get used to the rhythm of scoring. Much easier to bat proactively in LOI, you'll score more runs and at a higher rate.

In the last series, India was often around the same score after 10 overs, around 25 to 35. Difference was, they didn't lose a single wicket. On these wickets, you might have to wait and watch first 10 overs

definitely agree on the hafeez and bits and pieces part, but afridi and razzaq at there peaks were not bits and pieces cricketers, both of them won pakistan many many matches with both bat and ball.
