in either overs the bowlers used so far:
Taylor, Gayle, Edwards, Bravo and Benn

Aus 48-0 after 8 overs

0/62 after 10 overs. Marsh 38, Watson 21.

Marsh 40 - Watson 21
Aus 64-0 after 10.5 overs
X Marshall is down as he lands awkwardly on his right shoulder. Now off the field

Marsh 50 off 55 balls

14.3 Bravo to Marsh, FOUR, some width outside off, drives hard through the covers to bring up his fifty on his one-day debut, the eighth Australian to make a half-century on ODI debut

Aus 87-1

Ponting 6 inside edge to stumps and bowled by Taylor

Aus 96-2 after 18.3 overs

chances of rain

Dubya gone for 6, OZ 2/96.

Dubya's not had a great year apart from that excellent, match-winning hundred at Jamaica, has he?

30.4 Sammy to Marsh, OUT, and there's the breakthrough they wanted! A slightly slower ball in the slot and Marsh drives, can't keep it down and it goes straight to Gayle at cover

SE Marsh c Gayle b Sammy 81 (97b 7x4 1x6) SR: 83.50

Aus 140-4

Australia picking up the RR. Last 5 overs 40 runs
Aus 190-4 after 39 overs @ 4.87

Haddin 50 out ct at long off off Benn
Aus 231-5 after 44.4 overs
cameron White in

Good to see shaun marsh get runs as he is a very talented player. Looks like W.I will be chasing around 270-80 here!

Australia 253/7 (48.2 ov)

west indies using there spinners here brilliantly in death overs!

How's the pitch playing? What's the par score?

I have a feeling West Indies might push Australia hard

X Marshal, time to stand up again

hope he can play he had injured himself while fielding.

but is a daunting task for us...but i hope they pull it off. ;-)

W.I 23/1

Gayle almost miscues one down ground.

Gayle slaps one off lee thru point for 4

28-1 after 7 overs..

Gayle 20 LBW off Bracken
WI 29-2 after 7.5 overs
Andre Fletcher making his debut in

Sarwan out ct in slips off Lee

Viv Richards saying Gayle was a bit unlucky with the LBW decision.

7.5 Bracken to Gayle, OUT, And there goes Gayle. Bracken angles it in, Gayle walks across and tries to work to leg, it strikes him in line, and after a Bucknor-like interminably long wait Asad Rauf raises the finger
CH Gayle lbw b Bracken 20 (26b 3x4 0x6) SR: 76.92

Hawkeye suggesting it would have hit the leg stump

Time for W.I young guns to step up to the plate here!

Fletcher and Bravo need to put 100 on here atleast...

That could be a very expensive drop for Hussey

W.I 75/3

Bravo needs to convert his good start and make a ton for once!

Clarke one and gets bravo LBW 1st ball...lucked plumb!

Fletcher/pollard could make names for themselves tonight!

Brilliant glovework by Haddin.

stumping or run out?

Chanders probably just rested. Probably recovering from leg problem

6/136, Ramdin the last of the recognised batsmen. Only bunnies after him.

Awesome line and length from Cam White - ball didn't deviate a millimetre from his planned trajectory!

:)) That was the effort ball

Lee playing his 169th ODI is 2 wickets away from 300 ODI wickets. He has 2 overs left
WI 168-7 after 37 overs

The only way Cam White is going to get the ball to move is if he uses a bottletop to scratch it I reckon.

Oh no, there's some rain in the air. This will never do - it's helpful to nobody. The crowd are annoyed with the whole situation and are throwing cans around and on to the pitch. The third umpire comes round to have a word with the groundstaff. It's not clear what they're protesting at - although it's likely to be the fact that Sammy was waiting on the boundary edge, unhappy with being given out.

39.1 Bracken to Sammy, OUT, bowled him - although he needed confirmation from the umpire as to whether it came off Haddin's pads or the stumps, both as it happened - Sammy swishing at the air

DJG Sammy b Bracken 33 (35b 2x4 0x6) SR: 94.28

Wii 186-9 after 39.1 overs. need 88 runs more

There was a delay of about ten minutes there, by the way, while the outfield was sorted out

Bracken gets Benn
WI 189 all out after 39.5 overs
Australia wins by 84 runs

I think Taylor has got him out every single time - Taylor didn't play in the game he got that hundred though.

Dubya is going pretty badly at the moment (for him)
