Qasim is the most overrated cricketer from this recent U19 batch. Very bits and pieces, Mubasir Khan would have been a much better pick if they were going for an off spin batting all rounder...

LQ needs to select players from domestic circuit as well, they need the right balance. Shaheen came through junior level and became their best pacer so unless they have some extreme talent in their development program they should go for players coming through the circuit.

all the emerging players seem to be bowlers, franchises have literally zero confidence in local young batsmen, would rather have domestic overseas hitters.

would have been a lot better to reduce overseas slots for this years psl given difficulty to attract players.
