What happened to the squeaky bum thread I had put up earlier today? Had exactly this scenario in mind.

Yes, what ho, I saw that thread...But seem a little chance for a WI win here. Pitch is perfect for batting. WI can win only if India try to go for the leather and lose wickets in the process.

we had a golden chance of winning 3/0 here.... Rain drew the last one and Chanders / Edwards partnership will draw this one....dont see India winning this

India has a golden chance despite the partnership of WI batsmen. You needed less than 4 for 180 runs on a good batting pitch. Nothing more you can ask, atleast for me.

That was a funny comment by the commentator - not sure who....Dujon - when Dravid's shot hit the silly midoff on the bottom. "That is what is called turning the other cheek!"

Rather good, I must say.

Dujon is funny sometimes, so is Fazeer and Tony. But, I like Ian Bishop of all those commentators. Always his commentary has good analysis on the game.

Murali Vijay has nothing to lose here...Team already being selected for England...he should go for leather now.

India need to remember they may not get full quota of overs. Overrate is slow.

WI are slowing the game...We may not see full overs as fading light will come into the picture..

Need a blistering innings here to set the tone.

Drinks break for rejuvenating Indian's players will to win this:)...
Guys go for it, nothing in the pitch..no demons...

They are within the rights to bowl negatively. Nothing wrong with it. Rahul should adapt tactics to counter that. His feet should be put to good use here..or take stance a bit towards the leg.

Crawling here or padding up does not help.

i remember when paul harris was bowling down the leg side to sehwag the umpire was calling it wide for negative tactics. there were like 12 wides.
could it be done for bishoo too???

He is hitting the pads by turning from way outside the legstump...I don't think they can call them wides.

Just cant see an Indian win here, theyre playing too slowly , wheres all that 'IPL' experience when you really need it.

Rahul should take chances here. He should try for over the top, there is no long-off/long-on.

Pushing and prodding will India get no where. Cannot understand the lack of positive intent.

I think it is better if Rahul gets out here? Looks like he is failing to up the ante... May be someone like Raina/Bhajji can up the ante.
WHat you guys think?

India's approach in this innings shows that they might be no 1 but they certainly can't be compared to the dominant Aussies.

Rahul should not waste time...he is changing gloves for the second time? He should remember umpires can call off the match in fading light.

He is a elder statesman of the team, should know all these tactics.

Bad cricket from India...unless Dhoni comes up with his flamboyant style and Bhajji joins in the party...it is going to be a draw.

If India does not close in this game...they deserve all the flak and it will be a psychological downer before english tour:(

I hope you all agree India is a USELESS team! Cant hit 180 /50 thats pathetic!

Tell you what Dravid has one great forward defence, straight out of the MCC coaching manual. :boycott

India should have smashed this chase by now. When you have Harbajhan Singh lower down this order why start off cautious? The great Aus team would have done this 20 overs.

Absolutely, but please don't compare with the Aus team, they were one of the best ever. This Indian team is no where that level.

WI needs credit here, have put great fight in the series. Well played Windies. A draw here is a good effort for them.
