Happy with the changes except for Fakhar being dropped for Haris. Disappointing to see a proven match winner in Fakhar dropped. No one on this team has the ability to be as destructive as Fakhar can be on his day and we've often see him come up big in big moments like CT 17, helping Pak win tri-series vs Australia in 2018, his performance vs Australia in 2021 T20 semi's and I think Pakistan will come to regret this decision.
Haris is a great talent but lets not confuse the formats. He's been good in T20's but has been awful in ODI's and hasn't shown the necessary application for the format. Maybe that changes and who knows, maybe he pull off what Fakhar pulled in CT 17 as a huge surprise but Fakhar was in his mid 20's and had a great domestic record in List A. Mohammad Haris so far, does not and if he performs poorly and Fakhar replaces him again, now you have players in their mind knowing if they play poorly for a match or two, they will get dropped and removes all the ODI buildup that's occurred over the years of stabilizing the team and sticking with your guys.
