Which edition of the world cup has been the best, most competitive and exciting T20 world cup to date?

For ODI's, i think 2019 was easily the best because of how competitive the tournament in general and how good the final was.

For t20, which one would you pick? You don't have to pick the one where your favourite team won, just the one which was the highest in terms of quality of cricket played, competitiveness, excitement etc.

I think it is very easy to exclude some. 2012, 2014 and apart from “remember the name”, 2016 wasn’t very memorable either. 2010 semis were good but the rest of the tournament very forgettable.

The last 2 (2021, 2022) were very good. The first two were excellent too probably because of the novelty of the format

2007 T20 was the best. There was a lot of interest as it was the first ever tournament. The matches were very exciting starting from the first SA vs WI game right down to India vs Pakistan final. The fact it was in SA made it even more worthwhile because the pitches were outstanding. All the T20 world cups held in Asia have been awful.

2007 handsdown that atmosphere was electric. Crowd noise. 2022 was a let down from a crowd standpoint. SA is a nice play world cup matches. 2003 was also very good.

2022 one was the best one I feel. There were many upsets. Even rain made things entertaining.

2007 - just for the sheer excitement since the format was so new!

2022 - for the crazy highs and lows as a Pakistani fan :)
