What is the progress of other PSL franchise in Player Development Programm (PDP) apart from Lahore Qalander
1. Islamabad United = 0 (picks up top domestic performers in emerging category)
2. Karachi Kings ( Does trails while sleeping and when they select someone he is no where to be seen)
3. Peshawar Zalmi ( Just bring Chinese and other country players to develop and do some kind of tournament through which no result is aquired)
4. Quetta ( They are least intrested franchise in PDP and works on friends circle e.g moin khan son)
5. 6th team ( Just came in hopefully will be a south punjab team so that talent comes from that part too)

Idk about that, but it’s a bit unfair to say they haven’t done anything in terms of PDP
I didn’t follow their event to know what talents they found, but I did remember seeing it on my timeline

how many players have karachi developed from other parts of Sind , How many players of Quetta or Sind play domestic cricket

Player development is bogus... See a t20 discard like asad shafiq opens for quetta while stroke player like umar amin sits on bench.. RIDICULOUS.. Talat plays very few games and bats too low in batting for Islamabad united while as foreigners like smith, haddin, Watson etc. Opens... What purpose does it serve... At least one opener should be Pakistani youngster who could develop by playing with stalwarts..
One the other hand IPL is contrast.. Major teams have batting position 1,2,3 for locals and then only you get IPL products like Shikhar dhawan , Ambati raydu, Rohit Sharma, pandey, Ashwin, etc. etc. Who are hit at international level....
Pakistan need to focus for its batting talent and psl gives the youngsters the platform and local Pakistanis should get priority for batting position 1,2,3,4 in all franchises... & keep a watch on
Umar amin, fakhar, talat, sahibzada, etc. etc.. And pcb should ensure all youngsters bat at higher positions in their respective teams...

Like I said, I don’t follow their PDP closely so can’t comment on players etc
Just said I know that they exist
