We all remember the iconic good movies for many years afterwards but what about the bad ones?

List some of the worst movies you had ever seen.

For recent times - I thought Batman vs Superman was pretty poor along with Catwoman (2004. Hated the Matrix ((1999) as well.

Discuss!

Birdman that movie won so many awards and inwent to watch it.. Was such a boring movie never seen anything worse and I have watched plenty of crappy Bollywood movies..

One called The Muse. I sat through the whole thing with a girlfriend, slowly losing the will to live.

Dilwale - Normally i don't watch SRK movies in Theater (went with Wife)..for my bad luck there was NO 4G connection available inside theater as well to divert attention from screen :(

Double Dhamal (Went with a friend) - One of the most unfunny movie i watched..wanted to come out during interval just had sit due to friend till end.

Phone Booth - the ending made the story an almighty waste of time.

The Room featuring Tommy Wiseau is also a candidate.

'Phir Hera Pheri'. It was a disaster. The prequel 'Hera Pheri' was so awesome, a laughter riot.

I usually only watch highly rated movies, but funnily enough I was a bit bored with the current set of tv dramas so I thought I would watch some lesser rated movies on Netflix just for a change this weekend. I watched The Ring 2 and it was terrible.

Dracula Untold, I usually stay away from low rated movies but was coerced to watching this with friends, what a disaster it was

What you saying? Phir Hera Pheri is a hilarious movie, so many comedies don’t come close to it

The room.. years ago.

Over the years that movie gained a cult status when it comes to being a terrible terrible film. Now they made a film based on the room and the guy who made it and it’s showing right now called the disaster artist.

Apart from that there are tons ofnindian movies I was forced to sit through in theatres when I went with friends and couldn’t leave. There was one about shahrukh teaching music at school which was a copy of the dead poets society. I thought that was such a terrible copy of the dead poets society.

Phone Booth - the ending made the story an almighty waste of time.

The Room featuring Tommy Wiseau is also a candidate.

Planning to watch The Room just for the laughs, and to make sense of disaster artist which has rave reviews so far.

So you are telling us that Phone Booth is the WORST movie you have ever seen.

Like ever.

Like you have never seen movies below the level of phone booth?

Well I don't intend to go out of my way to watch bad films.

There's more to add to the list - that Super Mario film in the 90s with Bob Hoskins and Dennis Hopper was pretty bad - infact there's a number of video game adaptations that should be on the list.

Phone Booth deserves to be on the list, I don't think I'm being harsh in panning a film that resolves itself in a way that completely discards the previous 70 mins of viewing. Beyond the illogical ending there's the laughable premise, numerous plot holes, the incompetence of the police in the film and Schumacher's gross stereotypes of urban life.

I've not watched it and it probably is terrible but those criticisms are a bit harsh, it's a movie not a documentary lol

The tree of life.

Brad Pitt and Sean Penn movie. Man that was a torture to watch

Some Indian movie I watched way back in university with some Indian friends. Don't remember the name but there was a scene in it where a hand grenade explodes in a swimming pool situated on the top floor of a highrise and somehow the exploding swimming pool floods the entire skyscraper.

2001: A space Odyssey

The film has 8.3 rating on IMDB, is ranked 92 in the best rated movies and has a 94 percent rating on rotten tomatoes.

I don't know why i could not understand this movie, it was perhaps i could not get it because of sleep but then i ponder that actually this movie had made me asleep. I am really not sure.

Zubeida from bollywood. Oh God, we didnt have cable tv back then and i was a kid. The only channel which was available showed this movie and it was like i grew 50 years older watching that movie.

Another honorable mention would be Tees maar khan. The second half of the movie especially was the worst direction, acting, writing, plagiarization of internet jokes and overall cinema you could ever come across if you travel across universe.

From hollywood last year i saw an "action" movie called "vigilante diaries". What an utter waste of time. Just watched it completely for the sake of the MBs i had wasted in downloading that crap.

Not sure if it counts as I could only bear it for 40 minutes and had to stop but for me it's prem ratan dhan payo.

Movie 43! Watched it because of my crush for Emma Stone. Couldn’t be bothered to watch the full movie.

To be fair aliasad1998 enjoyed it and he's an expert. But each to their own I suppose.

It is no great movie and will not win any awards by any means but it is a lot better than the Batsman vs Superman and Justice League rubbish that is being shoved down our throats.

Did you just mention The Matrix as the worst movie you've seen?

Yes - complete nonsense if you ask me.

My fav Keanu Reeves movie remains the The Speed with Sanda Bullock - not sure if you have seen and it is kinda old but a good movie nonetheless.

The only good thing about Tees Mar Khan was Sheila Ki Jawani! :)

Lol I find it hard to believe anyone would hate The Matrix, this is like saying Muhammad Ali was a rubbish fighter

"The Fountain" directed by Aronofsky.

Rex Reed wrote about the recent Aronofsky film "Mother" what is equally applicable to "The Fountain"

This delusional freak show is two hours of pretentious twaddle that tackles religion, paranoia, lust, rebellion, and a thirst for blood in a circus of grotesque debauchery to prove that being a woman requires emotional sacrifice and physical agony at the cost of everything else in life, including life itself.

Anyone who saw Rubber (2010) would not say bad to anything els.

10 cloverfield lane comes second.

And then there's a genre where movis sucks so bad that it Becomes fascinating watching that. ABCs of death lies there.

+1

I dont know who are the people who watch such movies. Never met 1 person who liked them.

If I am paying $$ to go & entertain myself with a movie I should get that for the full length of the film rather than be sitting through a pointless narration of events (happened or about to happen) via choroegraphed nonsense.

The only time musicals are acceptable are when it's a kids movie or something produced by Disney (i.e. animation etc). If I am planning to watch a movie about a gangster mob or some historical piece of film I will hate if the length (for my entertainment) is eaten away via nach gana

The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017) - Saw it last night and regretted wasting hours of my life - almost same reason as I dont watch Indian movies!

Two indian movies. One was boom released in 2003. I never regretted any movie as i regretted that movie. It was load of ****.

The other one was the notorious gunda but i found the one-liners pretty funny especially "Mera naam he bulla rakhta hun khulla khulla" :)))

Bro that movie is one of the best movies period. How could you fall asleep on that?

When I first watched it couldn't believe that a movie could be this different and good at the same time. It is what made me a huge kubrick fan.

Ex Machina was horrible, probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen considering the reviews, right up there with the righly low rated Rings (2017)
