What is your favorite antivirus software?

I have used quite a few antivirus software --> Norton, Bitdefender, Trend Micro, AVG etc.

From these, I liked Bitdefender the most. Norton was the most problematic one I used.

What about you? What is your favorite antivirus software? What is your least favorite antivirus software?

Accessing internet without an antivirus software is very risky. You should get one.

I have been using Norton since last year but I am now looking to switch to Bitdefender.

I used Bitdefender before; so, I am returning to what I am comfortable with.

Haven’t had the need to download a third party Anti virus software in ages. The built in Anti virus in most systems works just fine these days unless you spend a lot of time on shady websites downloading weird stuff.

Affordable subscription based services have made life much easier.

2. All home laptops are Windows 11 24H2 with latest patches applied
3. All Windows 11 systems use Windows Defender
4. Don't download junk

1. Antivirus is not to stop hackers so a good antivirus will do not do much to stop a scammer.
2. Antivirus will also not do much if your operation system (e.g. windows) is not up to date

When browsing the Internet, you could come across an already infected site which can inject your device. You could also download an attachment via email which could compromise you.

Sometimes a software update for an existing application on your device could also be infected.

I don't know which device you are using but if it is windows, update it and it already comes with an antivirus protector.

Windows Defender. I do not trust it since it is free. But, I think it is not a bad one.

I personally like Bitdefender the most. Bitdefender also has a very high rating online.

I got an offer through work and use across 10 devices. Mind you it's only £15 for a year on Amazon.
