There is a lot of abuse, negativity and wrist slitting in the media, among ex players who perhaps are either being objective or some of them have axes to grind, and in the social media right now.

What the PCB Chairman, Board of Governors and Technical Committee should tell the team is the following

- Take a break from the game for the next few days

- Don't watch the news, social media or even go out in public for the next few days

- Watch your old clips of your past performances where you did well, we believe in your guys, you guys did it before and can do it again

- Don't worry about not qualifying for the WC or Win/Losing the games going forward but try to put on a fighting show in all the remaining games

- Don't worry about being axed, dropped for the time being, get it out of your mind

The team needs to be in a healthy mental space for the next 4 games. I just want our team to come back home with their pride, dignity in tact

Ask Imam ul Haq especially to return to Earth and not to feel to overconfident of match loosing innings.

If possible hire a hypnotherapist to help them overcome the shock of the past week or so and get an A* motivational speaker or a mind conditioning coach and not a virtual one, one that's in the room with the team. PCT needs to get the past week out of their system ASAP.

As a cheek in tongue, perhaps a PTSD therapist post the SA game.

Not a hypnotist, but a hypnotherapist, who can help over come some mental blockages these lads are carrying. Dont diss it honestly, I have seen it at play firsthand at high pressure projects, backs to the wall, world caving in, all the cliches- where the team's quickly fallen apart; although it does take some sessions.

Essentially trying to erase past failure and reinforce positivity.

Or maybe faciliate an open & frank disccusion between the players on what's going wrong and how they can fix it with the resources at hand, to best salvage from this disaster.

First and foremost the PCB should tell the players is you losers aren't worthy of the backing and support of the Pakistan fans.

Right. If there is a way to get them back to the mindset before Asia cup match with India. It was full of confidence and ignorance. Ignorance can be useful at times

Just tell them they are being sent to Siberia for team retreat and where there’s plenty of Hyderabadi biryani. In fact, there will be a swimming pool filled with Hyderabadi biryani where players can dive straight into.

PCB should stay away from the team, Zaka Ashraf had no business talking to players before the indian game.
