I personally just can not eat this even if it’s halal. Just doesn’t feel right, dil kharab hou jata hai, but that’s me🤭

bought some organic raw milk = Desi chai + i made some banoffee pie

chicken curry
lamb curry
quarter naan

Desi tea
1 gulaab jaman, 3 tablespoons of semaiyah, small slice of bonoffee pie
 
Wow!

My longest intermittent fast was 30 hours long.

Never tried it for 3 days but I know it is a thing.
ive done it before, for me it did work, interms off clearer skin, more constant energy & especially fat burning

i ll be doing 1hr jogs when im not playing tennis or at gym

3-day water fast can apparently reboot immune system.

When you cross 17 hours, great things start to happen (autophagy, bdnf etc.).

Anyway, I used to touch 24-30 hours a few years ago. I now try to do 12-16 hours of IF daily.
 
A family I know , just 4 adults - 2 parents in sixties , their son & daughter-in- law in thrties only had dates , variety of fruits & rice-kheer done generously with dry fruits for Iftaar all 30 days . Sehri they had full heavy meal of oparathas , salan , eggs , works . Appered kinda odd to me but they said they like it this way !

Yeah some households do this, may be for convenience sake.

But also when you down that first date or two and that glass of water, all of a sudden hours of hunger and thirst just wash away and you feel half full already haha.

Even the iftar they serve at Masjid An Nabawi in Medina iirc to all present is dates, Laban (type of Arabic yoghurt drink) and I think some bread and spices to mix in the yogurt. And some Qahwa coffee like drink

That way you are also not in a full on food coma in the prayer in the next few mins and the big restaurants are open near by if you want a big meal after
 
Today:

just water

played tennis after work for 2hrs, dont feel tired, felt energetic when i woke up today, slept for 6hrs, usually sleep for 7,

i can feel my stomach shrink,

im thinking about keeping this up as long as i can, dont feel hungry
