try kenafeh with Dubai chocolate. At first I didn’t understand the Dubai chocolate hype but after trying it with certain standard desserts, it’s really good.

But a once in a while thing. Far too sweet.

Apparently it’s all the hype in South Korea too these days who have given it their own twist.

Talking of hype, Yemeni coffee is something I have heard a lot of good things about and I am motivated to try it out one of these Ramadan nights..

Muslim Chinese cuisine in China is so vast man

Would love to try Chinese Muslim cuisine. :dav

I had these a few years ago at a Toronto restaurant. It was owned by a Chinese Muslim guy.

Anyway, haven't had it since then.

These are "Cham people" and not Chinese, they live in Thailand and Vietnam.

Very nice people.

I've tried to keep things light. Yoghurt or porridge for breakfast and some grilled meats for dinner but after dinner end up having some sweets and even protein bar.

Still its a big change for me I have been eating a lot of junk recently and it's nice to reset. I also started walking for zuhr and asr salat to the mosque. For Isha it's often too cold and wet for a walk.

Today for Sehri I had protein yoghurt from Lidl and some water.

Good Muslim women to marry from Thailand or Vietnam, they eat a lot of chilli and hot food so if you can put up with it., you will be fine.

Plenty of born Muslim and Reverts to marry, Singapore is filled with Chinese Revert Muslims

Also loads of Filipino (Mindanao) Muslimahs, both (born and Revert) Muslims and diet is not as hot...Fly down to Mindanao

Very nice Muslim women and they settle with your family very well too.

@Suleiman and @finalfantasy7 too...

I see. Nice.

We Bangladeshis probably eat much spicier foods than Chinese/East Asians. LOL. Their spice levels shouldn't be issues for us. :yk

No, you don't :)

Bangladeshi people don't eat as much Chilli as Cham Muslims at all, Bangladesh food has more spices but not as much as raw Green Chili!

Get yourself a Cham woman and I dare you to eat the Food, I double dare you

Would love to try spicy foods of the cham people. Thanks for the recommendation.

I eat spicy food too, but on a work trip I once grabbed an ultra‑spicy wasabi sauce thinking it was regular chutney. For a moment, I was convinced my brain had started playing drums inside my skull, and it felt like smoke signals were coming out of my nose.

Wow that was heavy suhoor🤭

If I am not mistaken, you are not married yet?. Is it your mother/sister who cooks for you, or you do it yourself?
@sweep_shot probably brushes his teeth with "Beef flavored toothpaste" and then uses mouthwash which is also Beef flavored and then prays on Musallah made with genuine cow hide

Then wears a genuine cow hide leather Jacket to work

All Halal of course

wasabi sicy for a bit - gives you that instant spice kick straightaway, but cools down after 10-15secs - without drinking water

did it cool down or stayed for longer?

Mom cooks. :inti

I can cook a bit too but I can't cook meat and fish. Need to learn that.

Sometimes I get foods from outside. Many halal stores here in Toronto. Alhamdulillah.

I actually enjoy cooking. My fried rice is pretty good. :inti

I used to watch Gordon Ramsay's cooking shows (Kitchen Nightmares particularly). It is safe to say his cooking shows made me interested in cooking. I even bought a Gordon Ramsay's cooking book.

I want to get better at cooking.
