In 2023, cricket fans were treated to some exceptional bowling performances. Here are a few that stood out for me:

Ali Khan: 7/32 in 9.4 overs in an ODI against Jersey

Mohammed Shami: 7/57 in 9.5 overs in an ODI against New Zealand

Mohammed Siraj: 6/21 in 7 overs in an ODI against Sri Lanka

Wanindu Hasaranga: 6/24 in 8 overs in an ODI against UAE

Josh Little: 6/36 in 10 overs in an ODI against Zimbabwe

Ish Sodhi: 6/39 in 10 overs against in an ODI Bangladesh

Jofra Archer: 6/40 in 9.1 overs against in an ODI South Africa

These performances are just a glimpse of the thrilling bowling action that took place in 2023. Feel free to share what was the best one according to you.

Most of the ppl would be thinking about shami but to me its bumrah because he is the one ho created pressure on batsmen early on which allowed Shami to pick wickets.

He was unlucky that he couldnt end up with many wickets but he bowled like a champion.

Shami's 7/57 (against New Zealand) was the best bowling performance of 2023 for me.

That was a semi-final game. There was pressure and Shami delivered.

No spinners did well in 2023? Odd to see that.

Pat Cummins against India in finals for me. Came to bowl when India was 80/2 in 10 overs, the batsmen were in dream form and by the time he finished his 10 overs score read 227/9 in 48 overs. Took 2 wickets, didn't get hit for a single boundary and overall choked Indians on the pitch they wanted.

Mohammed Shami spell against New Zealand in the World Cup 2023 was my most favorite bowling performance of 2023.
