I see a lot of my relatives sport this hairstyle back in the day, does anyone know it's called and how I can achieve it, thanks

It's just a middle part, grow your hair long enough and part it in the middle. It's about 19 years out of fashion though.

Yeah, if you have straight hair, it is easy to achieve, depending on the direction of your hairgrowth.

I'm guessing you don't have straight hair else you would've figured it out.

You can get rebonding done on your hair at a salon if they're not straight, then grow them out and you can style it like this.

If you have wavy or curly hair and don't want to change that then this is impossible to achieve.

Go to your barber and tell him you want hairy A $$ crack on your head

I have naturally straight hair and this how my hair looks every morning when I wake up.

Ajmal when he got his hair done at a parlor in his last few months pre ban looked like that.

Looked like a chumpu :ajmal

A true classic. Afridi was rocking it until a few years ago iirc.

I had that hairdo, back when I had hair. It went with a buzz on the back and sides, and we would call it a mushroom cut, or occasionally an apple cut, because if you looked at your shadow, your head looked like an apple core with the top still in tact. Those were the days of copious gel, goatees, Brut deodorant (the one with the chain around the green beer bottle), and boots from Servis and Bata.

I shudder at the very thought of these things now.

(1) This vital info should have been in your interview.
(2) very true :)
(3) Isn't against the spirit of being Nostalgic?

1. It's a sensitive subject.
3. Lines must be drawn somewhere, and not crossed.

Lol are you serious? This is a tacky hairstyle don't do it.

Grow your hair out and get an undercut, put some product in it and brush it backwards.

Google search "undercut" for examples.

I wouldn't say it's tacky, more like outdated, maybe even vintage if you want to be nostalgic about it.

If you have a nice face, then you can pull off nearly any hairstyle. Which is why it suited Afridi when he had it.

Maybe OP wants to stand out from the ever popular undercuts and man buns that are so widespread in guys nowadays. Let him be yaar.

Really really bad hairstyle. I remember when I was in Pakistan back in 07, everyone had it. :inti I hope to god, that trend has passed.

It's called the " curtains " , a terrible terrible hairstyle. Was popular in the 90s and even till the mid 2000s ,untill the spikes took over , another bad hairdo.
Personally i think the 40s were the best times for men's fashion , with sideparted undercuts and combed back hair with sharp suits and pocket squares.
Thank God that is back in business , can never go wrong with a modern version of the 40s haircuts with a designer stubble if you have the face cut .
But hey if that's your thing than go for it man .

If you go to barbers in Pakistan, ask for "tere naam" style hair cut and you will get this :-)

That's not tere nam style.Tere nam look needed much longer hairs which often covered your forehead and sometime eyes too. Worst haircut I have seen.

That's so old now man.

Go for the Quiff look.

Dunno if that comes into the same compartment, but that is how my hair looked just some months ago. :murali

Not many differences apart from the denser hair, and the not as much visible center parting. :usman

yep had it back in 1999-2001 also Afridi had the same style.

This reminds me of "tere naam" joke.

A person went to the barber and asked for "tere naam" hair cut. The barber shaved his head and when he saw what had happened, he asked what have you done, have u not seen tere naam?

Barber replied; I only watched the end part ( where Salman has shaved head)!

Every 90s kid has had that hairstyle at one point in their lives or another. I'm not ashamed to say that I had that and it was considered cool when I was in middle school..

All these new kids with their spikes and faux-hawks ain't got nothing on the middle part.

:hafeez

Right now my hair is fairly long. I tie it up regularly but I haven't gotten a cut for like 5 months.

Ohh the kavva cut. Had this 12 years ago.

People used to copy shahrukh khan back then

The Tere Naam haircut is still being worn by those who sported it 17 years ago.
