This is unbelievable. We don't have a single batsman who averages in 50s or even close to it.
The last generation of such batsmen were:
MoYo: 52
Inzamam: ~50
Younis Khan: 52
Misbah ~47
Now the senior most Test batsmen average:
Asad Shafiq: 38
Azhar Ali: 44
Sarfraz: 36 (in 20s last 1 year).
Babar Azam is at 35 with 20 matches.
Haris Sohail is at 40 with 10 matches.
This is really concerning.
We can never, EVER come in the top 3 - 4 unless we have batsmen who can average 50 or close to it.
Does that mean for this entire decade we're going to remain at 5+?
