Ones I will be keeping an eye on are Jofra Archer, Babar Azam and Mohammad Abbas.

Archer - probably due to the hype but Babar Azam and M Abbas could have a bumper year if they play to their potential.

[Edited my mistake!]

Sadly no Pakistan batsmen in my list!

Babar Azam is a Pakistani batsman, do you mean no Indian batsman?

Isn't Babar a batsman?

Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam and Mohammad Amir.

Babar Azam- Didn't have the best year in ODI's but i think we will be see better scores this year. He has shown he can bat for long periods for times. He also will get a number of opportunities against high class opposition.

Shaheen Afridi- Will be the x factor in our World cup bowling attack. He has the height and pace to trouble all the batsman.

Shai Hope- We already seen this guy impress towards the end of 2018. He has finally found his feet in ODI's. He will have a great year- being WI best batsman.

Kane Williamson- my hunch is he will lead NZ to their 1st WC and play a big part in the process, will also continue to pile on runs in test cricket mounting a serious challenge on the Smith-Kohli hegemony

Kuldeep Yadav- highest wicket taker in WC, leading wicket taker in international T20s/ODIs and will displace 1 of the legendary Ashwin/Jadeja duo in tests with a Shane Warnesque impact

Butler- will displace Root as no 1 English batsman, and he will do it in all 3 formats, England's WC chances will ride on his shoulders and he will rise to the occasion by playing a couple of ATG ODI knocks

Honorable mentions: Kohli, Bumrah, Babar, Hasan Ali, Rabada, Markram, Cummins, Root, Moeen Ali, Mushfiqur, Rashid Khan

When it comes to Pakistan the three gun players will be Abbass, Shaheen & Babar

Joe Clarke if he can break into the England Side
Saud Shakeel
Faheem Ashraf

Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav across formats.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, Hetmyer, Lockie Fergusson, Kumara (from SL) are the others.

Yasir Shah to do remarkable things against the saffers.

Shadab Khan to be the stand out youngster in the world Cup.

Eoin Morgan to captain England to world Cup victory.

Pakistan :
After wasim I finally like one Pakistani player , shaheen Afridi.
I like his genuine agression and no show off nature unlike many Pakistani player(wagha border mockery). I saw some of his matches and he delivery at the crucial time. Hope he always remain genuine and contribute to his country.

India :
Prithiv shaw . Better version of Sachin and fearless batsmen.
Rishab pant : need some maturity and he will be next Gilchrist .

Lol. Babar and shadab are all mediocre. I hope Amir has a good year again, so we can compete in World cup. Except him all team is bang average.

Shaheen Shah Afridi- already a bright start to his career, but expect him to create havoc for the opposition in 2019

Prithvi Shaw- We’ve seen a glimpse of how good this guy is and if he doesn’t get injured he can really be sensational

Jofra Archer- already a global sensation and yet to play for England, could be a real trump card during the WC

I cant predict these things but my wish would be: -

Jos Butter
Shaheen Shah Afridi
KL Rahul

Not even gonna bother saying Kohli as that guy is just world class. Can't believe people even think about comparing Babar with him. Gross.

I think Shaheen Afridi, Shai Hope and I'll say Prithi Shaw too

Shaheen Shah - I have seen the kid play and its enough to suggest that there is a spark about him. His action, height, pace is all spot on. His attitude to work looks good too...so far. I think he is going to be the x factor for us at the world cup and catch the eye of everyone.

Buttler - He is the x-factor of England. The guy's confidence is next level. He should have been captaining England in the world cup. If England is to win the cup for the first time, Buttler surely would have to come to party.

Markram - SAF cricket is heading down and down pretty fast to be honest. With retirements of ABD, DuPlesis, Amla, Steyn, Morkel, etc its safe to say that SAF's best team has departed and I don't see them winning anything meaningful recently. Moreover, I see them declining as nothing special is coming through their ranks. The only guy I believe to prevent SAF sinking ship has to be Markram and I believe he is ought to have a bumper year next.

Smith - leads Aus to another WC win.

Warner - point to prove, think he'll have a strong WC.

Buttler - He'll be England's best batsmen at the WC.

I think Kohli will crumble in the WC KOs, the pressure will be too much for him. That's my gut feeling, he could prove me wrong and lead India to a WC but I don't think he can.

If Kane does that, you can shut the case on the big 4. Nothing Kohli or Smith do will compare to it. That along with the clutch innings in the third Test to win an away series in the UAE will put a comfortable and insurmountable distance between them.
