It is remarkable that Pakistan could not win a series in Australia during the days of Imran and Javed. Then in the days of Waqar and Wasim. They can not win now.

India MAY have a chance this season and ONLY this season because Warner and more importantly, Smith are missing. However, that means they will have to play the best cricket they have ever done, across at least 10 days of test cricket...at least. Bowl everything perfectly, hold onto every catch and score as much as possible. It is the best chance they will ever have.

Pakistan. But they lack one thing and that is good fielding, tally up the dropped catch’s during the last series just off of Amir’s bowling alone. In 2010 useless Kamran Akmal dropped Hussey 3 times. In every match they have dropped at least one or two catches. Tighten up your catching and you will defeat both the Aussies & the Springboks.

well pakistan was first asian team to win odi series in SA so yes not impossible to win a test series in SA

Possibly our best ever fielding side though slip catching is a different ball game but still wont be surprised if they do well in that department. Possibly we have the most Pakistani style captain this time around post Wasim Akram. So aggression will be there as seen in CT 17.

Bowling variety we have is in its best form since last 10 to 15 years. In terms of pacers We have got couple of good right arm seamers Hassan Ali and Abbas and both can reverse the bowl pretty well and in addition we have got left are swing of Amir, Rahat, Shinwari (If he is fit enough to play tests) and than we have got height and pace of Shaheen Shah, Faheem with his all round abilities is also gonna be a good addition, this is just to name a few pacers. Have got reasonable bench strength as well. Pace bowling is whats gonna make the difference in those conditions so no need to talk a lot about spin.

Yes batting is inexperienced but the guys have bit of exposure with A teams so I expect them to do good.
