I'm looking to buy a new bat. I'm looking at CA Plus 12000, HS Core 7, MB Malik Lala Edition. Which out of these is the best? Please don't go with a bat that you haven't tested or because that's the one you known. Honest reviews please!

Thanks! :afridi

Haven't tried the latter two. CA bats have a lot of ping but they don't last long, they use high quality wood but it's not matured.

Do you think I should go with the MB Malik Lala Edition then?

I have MB Malik Limited edition from like 5 years ago. It's best bat for the bucks. It was $250 at that time and the non-LE went for $220. Now the MB bats are very expensive. My bat has lasted me for 5 years, it has the best ping, it is slightly on the heavier side, but if you practice with it often, you will get used to it. I'm a number 9 to 11 batsmen, so it last me much longer. Everyone loves my bat but it is a bit too heavy for others as they have not practiced with them.

:uakmal I reckon you should go with the MB Malik Lala but not the LE. LE seems to have a bit to much meat and I tried it once but LE seemed to heavy. The MB's concave, edges, and face go well with each other and result with a lot of ping. Also depends where you live, if the wicket is bouncy, high profile, dusty then low.

Out of your listed options, MB would give good value for money. (referring to the original, not the LE).
