Everyone will say IPL and it's pretty obvious, a country with over 1 billion people will definitely attract sold out crowds and large amounts of revenue. So the IPL is a no brainer in this list.

And you know, most of our people love to be accepted by others so they will blindly say the IPL. For me enjoyment wise PSL, I've never watched a full season of the IPL however I've watched all 3 editions of the PSL fully.

I think it has to be Bngladesh League.
Best quality players playing in their home grounds vis a vis foreign soil.
No corruption vis a vis IPL.

No fake entertainment like Gaana Bajana etc.
At the max Naagin dance to uplift.
Best commentary team and excellent production graphics.

Better wickets than in flat Indian league or Abu Dhabi dusty PSL.

Also stands are full while sea of empty seats in PSL.

So if u are unbiased and like quality cricket then BPL is best

Many years ago I actually thought BBL was quite close but today even if you ask Aussies they will tell you straight that they're not in any competition. In every aspect IPL is ahead as a premier league. It has the star power, the audience, the glamour, best managed it just ticks all boxes.

Having said that, its just T20 and for genuine lovers of the game the quality of cricket in any T20 competition is no match to the sheer pleasure of watching a test match where batsmen have to earn their runs and bowlers have to earn their wickets.

As I said if u like cricket and a genuine fan. Then BPL is best followed by Afghanistan league and SriLanka league at 3rd.

Close mention would be Natwest league and Zimbabwe league.

Worst would be IPL and PSL. Absolute waste.

IPL has to be the worst. Too much money, parties, glamour, big hitters, top bowlers, great fielding, full stadiums, big brands. Players wait for months for it to start and then whine on social media when they don’t get selected and lose out of big bucks. Countries have to move their calendar to incorporate its schedule. Creates unnecessary jealousy among neighbours who don’t really get thheir “fair” share of big bucks.

Just a total waste. IPL

Infact both IPL and PSL should be banned. Waste of money and time.

Only Bangladesh and Stilanka league are successful and should continue.
Real cricket with sporty wickets. More thrilling matches than PSL or IPL

Lahore Badshahs were the jaaan of ICL.

It was a great league.

Chris Cairns and Justin Kemp were quite phenomenal hitters who did not play IPL but were born to play this format.

Without foreign players IPL is galore for the likes of Sandeep Sharma, Mohit Sharma, Axar Patel, Jaydev Unadkat, etc. These guys dictates terms in IPL.

Big Bash produces the best graphics and is pretty smooth to watch in HD.

Plz tell which point u feel is not correct.
I feel that BPL is better than PSL by miles.

First _ Held in home country ( every player feels safer)

Second - no fixing or players with prev betting/fixing history

Good commentators panel- Dany Morrison, Daryl Cullinan and Shamim to name a few.

Lot of close matches

Mostly bcoz - Stadium are packed to full. Unlike empty stadium league.

No time waste like Stage show and music. True cricket only.

Most of ur matches are being played at 2pm in the afternoon haha, for viewers in the UK thats 10am in the morning, no one wants to watch that early.

Also, in the first few matches of this season the stadium was so empty you could hear adhaan (call to prayer) in the stadium.

It’s a good league but it will never be on the level of IPL or PSL.

Players from No. 1 T20 team plays in PSL not IPL. Therefore, PSL>IPL. So much so that IPL wishes it had access to similar talent pool as PSL.

IPL is too long and deteriorated quality of cricket due to too many players. PSL is short and full of quality

MIG bumping all controversial threads. Haha. I like it.
On topic, apart from IPL, I’ve enjoyed watching BBL and Vitality Blast. Going by the reviews here, CPL/PSL could be a tie at 4th.

What PSL needs is more current international stars, players who are amongst the best in the world at the moment. There are not enough of this type of player playing in the PSL.

Why does BCCI not put highlights on YouTube like ECB, CA and PCB do for their respective leagues.

For casual T20 fans like me it is unlikely we will ever switch the tv on and get a subscription to watch a foreign t20 league we do not care about and which especially has no Pakistanis. However I think if it was on YouTube I’d certainly watch some highlights of amazing plays. For eg I’ve been hearing about KL Rahul century and some new guys 50 which I would’ve watched highlights of if there was an easy to access medium available.

I’ve watched bits of CPL, English and Aussie leagues over the years primarily due to recommendations on YouTube. BCCI should do similar for IPL. Wouldn’t it be a good revenue opportunity too since there could be ads and whatnot? Certainly the views would be million plus per match.

I feel asides from indian fans and some die hards enough foreigners (like me who would somewhat follow it if it was easy to follow) don’t watch ipl. Obv there’s the argument that IPL doesn’t need foreigners watching it to be successful but that’s not the point here.

Its not a problem but possibly due to the newness of the league itself.
IPL attracted the world's top players from the first year of it's inception and PSL has been unable to do so even after 5 years..that's a problem for sure..As Saj mentioned, PSL should try doing that first by offering top dollar and attracting the best..only then can it's quality and value increase which in turn will gradually ensure better quality players from Pakistan..Right now they are crap and PSL is not helping Pakistan cricket...

Having this level and scale of talent in one league will always be lucrative. I love the contests that the IPL offers. Steyn vs Rahul, Bairstow vs Shami, Butler vs Zampa. The best against the best makes IPL worth it

Overall IPL is best league in the world since its got the most money.

Psl is helping Pakistan cricket they are making money which helps pcb it also give players chance to make some money and a few have gone on to play for paksitan

I love these type of polls.

The answer is pretty obvious based on which league most cricketers are drawn to with the highest production values.

Then there's the guys voting for other leagues :)))

I think best league is NatWest T20 Blast. Just my personal opinion.

The reason why I like it is because it just focuses on cricket. No unnecessary nonsense. Not many gimmicks. They keep it simple.

Its called Vitality Blast as Natwest no longer sponsors it since 2018. Considering its your favorite league, I would have expected you to know that.

Anyway, can you pls enlighten us how is T20 blast is better than IPL? I have watched many vitality matches on Sky and quality of cricket is shockingly poor. Also, it does not even count as a premier league. It is England's domestic T20 competition like National t20 in Pakistan or Mustaq Ali trophy in India.

On topic, IPLs popularity is on a seperate galaxy now. It does not even compete with other cricket leagues and its competition is now with Premier league football or NFL/NBA.

The quality of the IPL has been unreal this year. A real shame fans can't be there at the ground.

IPL

CPL

BBL(this season was too low in quality)

PSL(on par with BBL at the moment,BBL edges past just because quality previous seasons)

IPL is light years ahead of any other league at the moment.

All other PL's, BL's and SL's are pretty much on par with each other with the big bash currently ahead slightly.

IPL

BBL
CPL
PSL
T20 Blast
Mzansi

Entertainment value : IPL by far

Batting quality : CPL

Bowling quality : PSL

Fielding quality : BBL

Quality of fans: BPL

IPL without doubt. The best players in the world playing together, the most amount of money, glamour, attraction, hype, everyone wants to get involved not only for the money but the brand and experience so that they can feel proud and boast about it.

Mumbai Indians is the best t20 team in the world. Even stronger than all international team.

I must say that usually i myself do not care about IPL, but this year there was a visible difference in the overall quality of the product.

In terms of foreign players, this IPL had probably the widest pool of top notch foreign talent in its history. Most IPL teams this year would be contenders in an ICC World T20 they were that much studded with superstars.

Indian cricketers, especially the neglected young players contingent were very involved this season. It was great to see.

Gap between the top and bottom ranked IPL teams this year was narrowest ever. The bottom ranked teams have won 6/14 games. It's ridiculous. Usually bottom.ranked teams have 2-4 wins

This was a tough year and it seemed like the players were dying from the inside to have a proper fight out there in the middle and they did.

Kudos to all the players, team management's, coaching staff, owners, BCCI, UAE cricket and respective governments in giving us the GREATEST IPL SEASON EVER!!!

JOB WELL DONE!

Pretty apparent to everyone.

Top class international players are keen to play in IPL because of money.Who can blame them. Also large
crowds in India make it very exciting.Personally I don't care much about IPL.I have not watched any IPL matchess.I don't even know which teams play in IPL.People should follow their own favourite teams or leagues. In UK many people love their local football teams even when these teams are in 5th and 4th divisions. You don't have to watch premier league teams.

In terms of pure competitiveness then it's IPL but for an enjoyment aspect and seeing exposure of young Pakistani talent then PSL. However, again whenever i have watched the PSL i've been thoroughly entertained, i mean how can you not find this year's Karachi Kings vs Lahore Qalanders match exciting where Ben Dunk scored 99*

Imran Tahir's post match comments today

"There is no need to compare - The standard is the same in both PSL and IPL. As a bowler I feel that the grounds are smaller in PSL this season. But the standard in PSL is fantastic, there are good fast-bowlers, pitches are very good where the ball comes on to the bat nicely - maybe now and then, you get slow tracks but I think that the standard of PSL is very good"

Hoping to see a fantastic final. Both sides have the starpower to produce a really high quality match and show what the PSL is about.
