Lahore Badshahs were the jaaan of ICL.
It was a great league.
Chris Cairns and Justin Kemp were quite phenomenal hitters who did not play IPL but were born to play this format.
Many years ago I actually thought BBL was quite close but today even if you ask Aussies they will tell you straight that they're not in any competition. In every aspect IPL is ahead as a premier league. It has the star power, the audience, the glamour, best managed it just ticks all boxes.
Having said that, its just T20 and for genuine lovers of the game the quality of cricket in any T20 competition is no match to the sheer pleasure of watching a test match where batsmen have to earn their runs and bowlers have to earn their wickets.
I think it has to be Bngladesh League.
Best quality players playing in their home grounds vis a vis foreign soil.
No corruption vis a vis IPL.
No fake entertainment like Gaana Bajana etc.
At the max Naagin dance to uplift.
Best commentary team and excellent production graphics.
Better wickets than in flat Indian league or Abu Dhabi dusty PSL.
Also stands are full while sea of empty seats in PSL.
So if u are unbiased and like quality cricket then BPL is best
LOL......BCL, best quality players, Best commentary team and excellent production graphics
What are you smoking!!!!
Plz tell which point u feel is not correct.
I feel that BPL is better than PSL by miles.
First _ Held in home country ( every player feels safer)
Second - no fixing or players with prev betting/fixing history
Good commentators panel- Dany Morrison, Daryl Cullinan and Shamim to name a few.
Lot of close matches
Mostly bcoz - Stadium are packed to full. Unlike empty stadium league.
No time waste like Stage show and music. True cricket only.
MIG bumping all controversial threads. Haha. I like it.<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">What a game ..that’s why this is the best league in the world ... amazing talent on display <a href="https://twitter.com/BCCI?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@bcci</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/IPL?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@IPL</a></p>— Sourav Ganguly (@SGanguly99) <a href="https://twitter.com/SGanguly99/status/1310283750484271104?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">September 27, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
What PSL needs is more current international stars, players who are amongst the best in the world at the moment. There are not enough of this type of player playing in the PSL.
well said..admitting the problem is the first step..
IPL attracted the world's top players from the first year of it's inception and PSL has been unable to do so even after 5 years..that's a problem for sure..As Saj mentioned, PSL should try doing that first by offering top dollar and attracting the best..only then can it's quality and value increase which in turn will gradually ensure better quality players from Pakistan..Right now they are crap and PSL is not helping Pakistan cricket...Its not a problem but possibly due to the newness of the league itself.

I think best league is NatWest T20 Blast. Just my personal opinion.
The reason why I like it is because it just focuses on cricket. No unnecessary nonsense. Not many gimmicks. They keep it simple.

IPL
BBL
PSL
Everything else is just mediocore

Worst is ilt20........Best T20 league is BBL.
I also think PSL and CPL are pretty good. You can watch some pure cricket.
IPL may have the money but it is full of trashy gimmicks and it is 2.5 months long. Pretty ridiculous.![]()
Good old days from 2007

Good old days from 2007
ICL was start of t20 leagues
Perfectly summed upLooking back at my life, I feel this was the time when I was most passionate about cricket and even thought that I could make it in the cricketing universe in some capacity. Playing club cricket, staying up late to watch cricket even if it was being played in Windies, playing Ramadan tournaments, gathering money to somehow contribute to book a cricket ground to play cricket under lights, reading about cricket, wanting to write about cricket, etc.
It was also a time of innocence for me regarding the bigger picture of cricket. The Qayuum report was out in the public but didn't have the knowledge or wisdom to seek it & just thought cricket was a pure sports & players always played only and only for passion. I remember even in our household before a match, so many would pray nafl for the team to win. The feeling of grief for losing a match just felt like something that never went away.
I don't know exactly when and how the extreme passion of cricket went away but life takes over. One starts to see the realities of the world and understand how everything works. The unfairness at trials also played a part in some capacity for me but that's how it is at times.
Perfectly summed up
This was best time of life for me
Used to watch every cricket match
Even these leagues were fun to watch
Today such is the situation that haven't even watched a single match of PSL yet
YouTube has never been reliable source for watching cricket unfortunatelyRemoving PSL from YouTube has been it for me. If they remove Pak cricket from YT, it'd be the end of my cricket watching career.
YouTube has never been reliable source for watching cricket unfortunately
Everyday some copyright strikes take out everything
Yeah I get it but I have never been reliant on yt for cricketThat DRM channel streams all of Pak cricket legally. This ICC tournament was free on ICC tv for my region as well. First time in like the longest that YT isn't showing PSL. Some of the years they were streaming it live with a 10 minutes or so delay.
I talked to an Australian who was very knowledgeable about our cricket and turns out that they also have DRM stream live Pak cricket in their region.
Yeah I get it but I have never been reliant on yt for cricket
Thankfully I have access to good website for cricket
