I am having a feeling that this is South Africa's world cup to win. They won't enter the tournament as favorites as they always do so there'll be no added pressure on them. Their squad with some talented young players (Markram, Shamsi, Ngidi, Jonker) is building up nicely. Steyn, Amla, Duminy will have to take responsibility as senior players though.

ENG is the best place for surprise winners. The gap between top & lower ranked teams are widest in bowling department- in ENG, sometimes condition reduces that gap significantly. So far, there has been 3 surprising winners in ENG - 1983, 2004 & 2017; you can take ZIM & BD as well making SF in 1999 & 2017. On a good day, Mashrafe got that AUS side like 20/3 or so & ZIM got IND 17/5 - it’s possible.
