Pakistan's ICC Champions Trophy 2025 campaign comes to a disappointing end after a washout against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi

Heavy rain resulted in a complete washout, ensuring the host finished their tournament campaign without securing a single victory and ending at the bottom of the table.

No rain won't saved you Tommorow.

Only 40% chance of rain and its upto to 3PM Only .

Match is going to start at the same time so we will get minimum 40-42 overs match .

:kp
Don't really need saving, and aha exposed. This is what I wanted to check. You claim why does i an aussie fan care about Bangladesh vs Pakistan yet here you are checking weather reports for a game about Australia and Afghanistan.

@Devadwal @Rajdeep @cricketjoshila

It's going to wash out tmr as well 🤣🤣. Too bad your easy Afghanistan semi final exploitation won't come to fruition lol.

Afghanistan is brother to us in cricket. We may pull their hair or cheeks gently in brotherly love but beating them in a serious match is not something we enjoy. Saffers and Aussies will face our full wrath though.

Like they did in BGT? You guys bully Afghanistan in cricket left and right lol. It's just Australia can't be bullied.

They can be beaten and bruised but will always remain the Greatest of all time.

BGT? Dont you know Rajdeep never accepted the result of BGT due to open umpire bias. For me that series never existed.

Brother India got outplayed and brutally got demolished.

They managed to fluke one oerth test due to Australia underestimating bunrah.

Every game Australia figured out to casually block bumrah cause everyone else is a trundler and the indian batting is a joke 🤣🤣.

Things are moving in India's direction, India look too strong an undefeated CT win on cards

Too early to tell.

They haven't met any formidable opponent ever since BGT (which they lost 1-3).

I think Aussies and Kiwis can crush them. :inti

South Africa has also qualified. There’s no way England is gonna beat them so bad that they won’t even qualify

Just to put it out there. No team with KL Rahul has ever won any tournament. Under 19 world cup ,champions trophy, world cup, world t20, IPL, champions league. Nothing. No 1 panauti.

2000 CT was heartbreak for me. Hope India beats Nzl in final to avenge that . However my cricketing sense tells me Nzl has their name written on this trophy

I don't care who go to final or who win as long as India don't go to final.

:qdkcheeky

What difference will it make to your routine ; you will still copy paste scores for us 🤣 and your small life will lighten up with strong Indian team out . All good my Bangladeshi Canadian bro 👍

Teams facing unusual Dubai travel plans for semis

Australia and South Africa will travel to Dubai before the Champions Trophy semi-finals, despite not knowing if they will play there or in Pakistan.

Dubai will host the first semi-final on Tuesday with the second match played in Lahore, Pakistan, a day later.

India, who are guaranteed to progress from Group A, are playing all of their matches in Dubai after opting not to travel to Pakistan.

Group B concludes with South Africa's match against England on Saturday but neither the Proteas or Australia will know the venue for their semi-final until after the conclusion of India's match against New Zealand on Sunday.

Were they to wait until Monday and only travel when the fixtures were confirmed, that would rule out the possibility of training in Dubai – where India will have played all three group matches.

It raises the prospect of Australia taking the three-hour flight from Lahore to Dubai on Saturday, only to have to fly back on Monday if they do not meet India.

Similarly, South Africa will fly to Dubai in the early hours of Sunday and could return to Pakistan 24 hours later if they do not have to face India.

Whichever team finishes second in Group A will meet the winner of Group B and vice-versa. India are guaranteed to play the first semi-final on Tuesday regardless of their group position, however.

There has been criticism throughout the tournament of the advantage India hold by playing all of their matches at the venue.

Others have played across the four venues in Pakistan and Dubai.

"If you can stay in one place, stay in one hotel, practice in the same facilities, play in the same stadium, on the same pitches every time, it's definitely an advantage," South Africa batter Rassie van der Dussen said earlier this week.

"I don't think you have to be a rocket scientist to know that."

BBC chief cricket commentator Jonathan Agnew said: "India are camped out in Dubai, playing in the same ground and same places in the changing room.

"Both Australia and South Africa will fly to Dubai but only one will play there and the other will get back on a plane to Lahore. It's all got a bit crazy."

That confirms South Africa's place in the semi-finals, regardless of the outcome of this match, as Afghanistan can no longer surpass them on net run rate.

In the interest of India i want to face Australia in the semi final as it is easier to take them out in semis than finals due to India's choking tendency.
In the interest of SA i want to face SA in the semi final as they can beat us more easily than NZ. It is also better to let Australa duking out with NZ in the semi final.

All set! India will take on Australia in the first semi-final in Dubai, while South Africa will face New Zealand in the second semi-final in Lahore.

India or New Zeland.

India has advantage as they are playing all games in the same ground. Dubai is a spinners wicket so India picked the right squad for that place. If India manages not to reach the finals, it would be a big surprise.

The other team is New Zealand. Strongest batting line up, but i feel they are a spinner short.

It will all depend on the pitches that will be produced. If you look at the Australian side, they are thinking that flat surfaces are gonna be in play, so they have pacers and batters in the line up.

India will dictate the fate of this tournament at the end of the day. Playing in UAE and with the right squad, its performance will decide whether the tournament will continue in UAE or in Pakistan.

If India loses its games and the semi and finals get shifted to Pakistan, than New Zealand has a team that can adjust to Pakistani conditions and Australia will also come out as a strong as they enjoy these flat tracks.

Pakistan has a garbage lower and middle order so have no expectations from them.

Credit where due .

Top tier prediction this... :salute

I have watched alot of games of pakistan when we used to play in UAE.

I learned from these games that it doèsnt matter how good of a pace attack you have got as the conditions dictate how the game will be played.

Which is why I always say that picking the right squad is very important. Especially bowlers. Never go on myths.

Pakistans biggest issue is that we are logical we are emotional. If we see that shaheen can pick a wicket in the first over in England, we end up bowling Shaheen with the first over in the next 50 matches.

Meanwhile, other teams might have Marco Jensen who does the same thing, but they still use spinners and other bowlers when condition warrants.

Alot of whining has gone on about India having advantage of same ground, but i maitain that while that advantage was there, you also need to select the right squad.

Dude, glad to see KL break the jinx- guy was phenomenal through the series. Good to see his redemption arc.

Yea. Shami had the dubious record. But atleast he had an IPL trophy. Now all are cleansed. But crux of the problem has always been lack of depth.

Yeah enjoy your rigged Dubai cup

Don't worry this will be last icc tournament that India has won for foreseeable future
From India hasn't won an ICC tournament in the last 10 years, to India won the last T20 WC because they faced serial chokers South Africa in the finals, to India won the very next ICC tournament because it was rigged and India won't win another ICC tournament in a long time ..... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
