What happened to the law of average ??? Why it does not work for Pak against India ?

Its a curse Man, nothing else can explain it, Just want the team to meet fire with fire and Play with no fear approach like CT, we are bound to lose anyway so might as well lose in style and go down all guns blazing and not another confused and safety first meek approach, which will make the loss even more painful to take.

I visited an Indian astrologer today here in Seattle and he told me that the India's WC streak against Pakistan will end on 24th as Rahu is looming over Ketu

I sense an Indian defeat this time and that if that's going to happen, India should finally win an ICC trophy too.

I agree. I also went to astrologer and he said that Pakistan will win this game.

Shaheen will shock a couple of Indian top order batters.

Being honest I don’t see Pakistan winning this by any chance. India is head and shoulders above Pakistan

Same statements, same hype, same result. Pakistan can never handle pressure. In CT, if Bumrah didn’t bowl a no ball. Fakhar would’ve been in the dressing room. Also, there were too many missed run out chances by India. It was not India’s day. Pakistan can only rely on India having a bad day.

India will have bad day and series

Steyn, Danny Morrison and Alan Wilkins have all picked Pakistan as favourites to win the tournament . Not sure why some PPers think Indian posters are trolling :facepalm

The odds are in favour of India because India is superior on skill level and India has a better record in big tournaments.

Luck plays a huge part in T20 however and missed run outs and dropped catches can make a huge difference.

One thing Pakistan must not do is try to bat safe for a few overs to consolidate and assume power hitting at the end will save the day - that kind of plan does not work against good teams anymore. They have to play shots from the first ball until the last. Indian batsmen will bat with a better strike rate.

How well Pakistani batsmen can play Indian bowling is another matter.

Some people can't accept reality. Pakistan hot favourite of many experts.

Ind should win this but i want some real passion from our players. Its something we have lacked against in all games in WCs. The Ind players are always up for it, ours freeze like rabbits in the headlights.

India to Win easily, unless there's a miracle by Pakistan. Want to keep my hopes as low as possible. Just hurts less.

[]India-Pakistan is a high-pressure match and only those who are able to deliver in such scenarios go on win

It will all boil down to professional approach rather than jazba and all that stuff. Teams will make mistakes like missed runout or dropped catch. Team which makes minimum mistakes and does basics right will win.

Now that the last two matches seem to be 120-130 par wickets, would a 120-130 par wicket favour Pakistan or a 180-200 par wicker favour Pakistan over India?

India has more individual superstars than Pakistan, with Kohli, Rohit, KL, Bumrah easily eclipsing Pak players, but Pak team looks more settled, they have played (almost) the same team in quite a few T20Is, whereas India hardly played this XI as a team in T20Is. I still think it's anyone's game.

Low scoring match would benefit Pakistan more but india too wouldn't mind it too much.

The pitches are variable that will make PCT a strong contender.. I think most of their batsmen are used to playing on such pitches.

Horror will be if Pak forfeits the game tomorrow... I just hope there are no such diabolical plans by Pak team, otherwise it will ruin the only interesting thing thats happening to me in a long time

I'm really intrigued by some of the posters here who don't give a chance to Pakistan. In T20s even Ireland have a chance against big teams. 20 overs is so little that one big performance from any individual from either side on its day can swing the match.

Definitely an attractive contrarian position.
Mouthwatering odds too, if you notice.
I would like to caution to consider hedge for a tie.

Though, My stance is india will win. Final 11 announcement is a factor.

Ian Chappel, Kerry o Keefe also have picked Pakistan as one of the favourites. Conditions play a major part and if it was in Australia may be Pakistan had lesser chance. But UAE is the like a lounge in their home for Pakistan cricketers and PSL superstars.
It seems like Pakistan posters are trolling us.:uak

If India bats first, it should be a tight game
Ind 165/6
Pak 151/8

If Pak bats first
Pak 140/7
Ind 142/4 in 17.5 overs

Pakistan last 6 T20Is at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium:

Won v New Zealand
Won v New Zealand
Won v Australia
Won v Australia
Won v West Indies
Won v West Indies

Interestingly Pakistan has not played a T20I at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium for nearly 3 years.

Even Cricviz rated their attack as the best in the tournament or something. I agree that on true wickets with bounce , we can smash them but on these sorta wickets, even the likes of imad Wasim are legitimate threats . Dangerous side - Pakistan.

So PP is predicting 35-28 to India as per the poll.

Let's hope for a close game. Will be delighted if we pull off a win!
