Why ? Care to explain? I know they reached the WTC Final by default ( by playing minnow team apart from one series)Aus all the way to the WTC glory ! Cant digest a SA win here..

Head should bat at 5. He is a beast there and might be the diff between a trail and lead.Since Australia is not willing to trust konstas for some reason, might as well go with the following
1) Travis Head
2) Usman Khawaja
3) Labu
4) Steve Smith
5) Inglis
6) Webster
7) Alex carey
Head is obviously the logical choice at no 5. But I feel Australia doesnt wish to take a risk with labu or Konstas.Head should bat at 5. He is a beast there and might be the diff between a trail and lead.
But again opening in england might backfire and take away one advantage aus has over eng in the form of headHead is obviously the logical choice at no 5. But I feel Australia doesnt wish to take a risk with labu or Konstas.
I forward the idea of konstas opening, but CA seems hesistiant. Labu was hinted to open but due to his rubbish form, they wanna back him at no 3 rather then give him the most difficult opening position.
They'll opt for Travis head if need be since he's a much better batsmen then both labu and Konstas at opening.
He won't open full time in tests, but currently Aus is struck for choice. But again opening in england might backfire and take away one advantage aus has over eng in the form of head
Nothing to do with SA, its more about Aus. Have been an Aus follower and supporter since the Steve Waugh days .. am a big big fan of Tugga Waugh & Warne , McGrath & Gilly & Langer. Watched almost all of Steve waugh's tests as captain and he was incredible with an incredible team at the time ; far ahead of its times. Other than Ind, I support Aus and if bazzball Eng was there, and it was AUs- vs Bazball Eng ( I probably would support bazball Eng ; am a big fan of bazball )Why ? Care to explain? If USA was there, USA would be my first and only choice by the way !Why ? Care to explain? I know they reached the WTC Final by default ( by playing minnow team apart from one series)

Another thing , SA got a very easy draw . I believe the 3 best test teams are Ind, Aus & Eng. These will be the 3 best teams for the immediate future. Test cricket is dying in all te other nations incl SA. Ind & Eng deserved to be in the final much more than SA because of the draw schedule they had.Why ? Care to explain? Why? England and India were honestly embrassing this time around.Another thing , SA got a very easy draw . I believe the 3 best test teams are Ind, Aus & Eng. Eng was unlucky in the Ashes. They came back from 2-0 down and if not for rain would have made it 2-3. Also , in the 1st game they lost they stupidly declared with wickets in hand. But learnt for it. Its been a while since I have seen Aussie that ruffled in a test series. Cummins and co bowled short balls with 6 men on the boundary , very defensive and un-Aussie like. So , expecting the next Ashes to be a blockbuster. Should be very entertaining , may the better tam win !Why? England and India were honestly embrassing this time around.
Other then Australia they played the most tests and had the most advantages and got demolished by aus and NZ?
It was so bad that they started taking their shirts off and dancing for a drawn test game
England vs India can go either way. England bowling is poor but Indian batting is poor too.Eng was unlucky in the Ashes. They came back from 2-0 down and if not for rain would have made it 2-3. And Ind was poor against NZ and Aus as they had the aging baggages rohit kohli ashwin shami. Good that they are out now. It was a Kohli cringefest show with even the Aussie comms oohing and aahing every single Kohli move ! Thankfully no more seniors in the Ind test team. That series loss to Aus hasteneded these guys exit and I am happy for that. The younger Ind batters will adapt and evolve. The new gen young Ind team may lose a couple of series initially but will emerge into a much stronger team with a few series under their belt. And the upcoming Ind-Eng and the next Ind-Aus tests should be cracker jackers..
