This World Cup will belong to batters because the ICC will focus on high-total encounters. I don't agree with him here that the West Indies has the most powerful batting unit. I think Australia should be number one, and then South Africa.

But usually, the West Indies have slow pitches. However, as drop in pitches from Australia have also been installed in NYC, there are chances that the tournament will be a heaven for the batters.

Realistically it’s England

4-5 guys who can blast a 40 ball ton from out of nowhere

Australia, without a doubt. In a batting shootout, they will be at a massive advantage.

England, without Stokes, looks slightly weaker. Would have put England alongside Australia had Stokes been in the team, but as of right now the likes of Will Jacks, Phil Salt etc are still looking to establish themselves in international cricket.

Yeah but inside you feel it’s Pakistan don’t you?

Pakistan have picked a good line up for the ‘conditions’?
Remains to be seen. If there is some support for the bowlers, we might have a chance. If the conditions are great for batting, bye bye.

Last time, he left out Australia from his semifinal list and they ended up winning the cup.

Best not to take anything he says seriously :mv

Data shows that IPL pitches this year had the least spin in all recent seasons and the likes of Bairstow still couldn't perform except in a couple of matches.

Brook hasn't done much in this format either.

Pakistan imo have the strongest batting line up for T20’s.

Babar Azam
Mohammad Rizwan
Saim Ayub
Shadab Khan
Ifthikar Ahmed
Salman Agha
Irfan Niazi
Imad Wasim

That top 8 is solid, you’ll either get 150 all out or a 170-1 (20) with this line up. Can’t wait.

RisBabar - Most powerful bum ball kickers in this business

Disagree, for me their no 2. Their more explosive but Australia more in form.

Pakistan have a great batting line up, you guys who are complaining got no clue how amazing, unorthodox and out of the box Pakistan is.

While countries like Australia and England are looking to have explosive openers utilise the Powerplay,

Pakistan is using babar and rizwan to bat through the innings and showcase their cheetah performance.

While the rest of the world is looking to invest in a quality finisher, Pakistan is looking to invest in chacha so he can play run a ball at the end and ensure not a single delivery is wasted by scoring 20 of 20.

While the rest of the world is looking to invest in solid batting allrounders, Pakistan is seeking the services of Shadab a gifted prodigy in tulla bazi.

And finally While the rest of the world is investing in a captain who may be tactically astute, Pakistan is looking towards babar azam who's tactically inept.

If the pitches are like sub par 150. I see no other team more favorite than Pakistan and no better batting pair than RizBar.

It's all about matchups. I'd like to see England's so called hitting lineup against a Pakistani attack of

Shaheen
Aamir
Abrar
Shadab
Imad
Saim/Ifti

Their entire lineup is vulnerable to Left arm pace and leg spin and PAK have 2 each of those .

And if they do indeed pick Duckett, PAK can resort to Chacha/Saim offspin.

It's a bowling lineup than can easily strangle England's one dimensional lineup.

If the pitches are subpar 150, then Pakistan will be all out for 90.

Subpar pitches in the windiest would entail spin and slow balls not coming onto the bat, meaning babar would be useless and rizwan's legside nonsense would be neutralised due to lack of power hitting.

lot depends on the pitch. Any pacy and bouncy tracks, Australian batters will really thrash hard, just like any turning and slow tracks would be utilized by Indian batters.

In all cases 1 thing is certain that there is no chance for the Pakistan team.

South Africa will choke. Even the best hitters choke. I say Australia and England. England has better spin bashers than Australia. Australia's biggest weakness is always spin inform or out of form. That is where they made a mistake by not picking McGurk. Marsh is often deer caught in headlights against spin. Head is a 50/50 guy against spin. Warner in current state is worse than he usually is. Maxwell against leg spin is 50/50. SA has the father of spin bashers. But they choke. So i go with England.

I know people are talking about batting lineup's, but Afghanistan should have a field day on those pitches. Tremendous spinners & solid players of spin.

England, India, and Australia are the batting power houses going into this world cup. Also South Africa is another team to look out for.

Last time I checked England won their 1st T20 WC in WI
its 14 years back.. nothing significant they have achieved in recent days while playing in WI.

England always struggles on slow wickets, so lets see how they will handle these tracks.

But new gen batsman are fearless. They scored 267 recently. There was one match where England needed 21 in 20th over

Harry brook hit 4 6 6 2 6 against Dre Rus. Finished the game in 5 balls

For me, Australia with the likes of Head and Warner at the top and Maxwell and Stoinis in the middle order, they are likely to post some big totals in the upcoming T20 world cup.

For me India has the best chance batting lineup in this WC as most of their players would be coming after playing in the IPL so they would be in good form.
